Aston really enjoys his lessons

Every tutor could easily be understood and they have good knowledge of their respective subjects. The best.

Jules helped us to overcome our initial concerns regarding "virtual tutoring" and Luke was able to build a one-to-one relationship with his tutor Josh, who was able to support Luke with both his A Level Maths and Physics.
Booking lessons in blocks of 24 enabled pupil and tutor flexibility to organise their personal and study time in order to maximise the tutoring opportunity for Luke as time was limited ahead of his forthcoming exams.
Whilst we await the final exam results and cannot measure the impact of the tutoring directly, Luke is certainly more confident as he sits his exams and better placed to perform to his potential.

I came here to improve my grades, and by the end of my trial I can say I am more than pleased with my results, my amazing tutor Diana Jeanne has been wonderful with me this past year, I couldn't recommend her and this company enough! Gostudent has been a positive experience for me, and I am incredibly thankful that I joined, as I can no longer worry about my maths grade.

The good:
1. Client's manager works hard to keep things moving.
2. User friendly platform is easy to access and use

The awful part:
1. Unreliable teachers - even if you book same time each week, teachers can cancel in platform last minute without your consent.
2. Rigid subscription system with no refunds - if you paid for 8 lessons per week and you failed to complete them, it is very hard to get them back, and impossible to get a refund once paid.
3. Teachers not vetted - the teacher insisted on teaching GCSE Maths instead of A level Maths, my daughter kept telling him the stuff is too easy but he just ignored and said - this is the lesson i have prepared for you. We gave up in the end. some teachers cannot even answer a maths question on the spot. It raises my suspicion if the teachers' qualifications were checked and vetted before they joined the platform.
4. Feedback is not kept confidential - we gave our feedback about the teachers to the company and one of the teachers sent a long unhappy text message to my daughter. She was afraid to have lessons with him after that.
5. No complaints procedure - we asked to speak to a senior manager and the request was not granted.

In the ideal world, we really wanted this platform to be great, but the amount of grief we got from cancelled lessons and teachers not replying, made it a regret for us. It also potentially has impacted my daughter's A level grades and wasted her valuable A level revision time. The results of those grades will sadly stay on her cv for rest of her life. I hope my feedback will reach someone to make some process improvement so the students will really benefit from it in the future.

Not only do they not make it clear that you are actually signing up for a 6 MONTH CONTRACT, They also refuse to reimburse you for lessons that you no longer need.

Why would my son need more tuition AFTER his exams???

Left extremely frustrated. Will not use again.

Tutor was very accommodating and very supportive of her student. Her teaching skills are fantastic, with very clear language and explanations.
