I reluctantly publicize my comment. I believe that this is an only way to get a reply from unprofessional auctioneer. I purchased a perpetual wooden wall calendar at House and Garden Sale 16/03/2026. Soon after I received an invoice I paid and requested their pack and send service. There was no reply. Since then I have sent to ask update several times, but nothing came back, even though I sent to not only client service departments but also higher peoples.
I am quite confident that Gorringes did something wrong such as lost, got damaged or missent and
tried to cover up as an organization. Do not trust these people with no moral.

Simply excellent to deal with!
I bought 6 pieces of studio pottery at auction. The condition reports were excellent, photographs and descriptions spot on. Paid a very reasonable price for shipping on Monday evening (2/07/2026)…. Arrived this morning at 10am (3/07/2025). Packed superbly everything intact couldn’t wish for a better service.

I've been doing remote auction buying with Gorringes since 2021 (I'm located in the States). You couldn't ask for better service and communication. Auction lot photos are good and descriptions accurate. I've always been very pleased with my purchases (and especially the items I just received). Thank you, everyone at Gorringes!

I have bought through this auction house three times recently. The quality of service is far superior to many others. From cataloguing right through to delivery is excellent. I know auction fees are high but in their case I feel I get value for money
