And I loved the delivery you made to my neighbors 2 houses down, after waking their dog and annoying them properly. Great work at being the worst delivery service ever.
Bait-and-Switch Referral Program: Documented Deceptive Practices
Gopuff is currently engaging in what appears to be a systemic 'Bait-and-Switch' regarding their referral program. Their app and website explicitly state that a referrer will receive a $25 GoCash credit immediately after a friend completes their first order. However, when I referred two friends who completed their orders on April 26 and April 27, 2026, Gopuff refused to honor the credit.
I have documented evidence of their supervisors (Jai and Deepak) making up arbitrary, hidden rules to avoid payout—claiming a 'second order' is required and citing an unlisted '$18.95 minimum'—both of which were directly contradicted by their own automated support system in the same chat session. Even when their own bot confirmed that no minimum spend exists and credit is due after the first order, human agents refused to manually rectify the technical error.
This is a clear violation of consumer protection laws, specifically the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA). I have filed formal reports with the Florida Attorney General and the FTC. If you are a user, be aware that their advertised referral terms are not being honored in good faith.

Delivery driver did not complete the delivery gave unit number and made me go all the way down to them. They promised cold beer I received hot beer. Not a good company when reaching out to customer service they give you bull crap responses and do nothing about it

So the website sucks!!! When you place an order you can’t see where the driver is. Once the driver comes they ask for a pin. A pin that’s never given. The driver shows up and calls customer support. You can’t talk to them. They hang up on you fast once the driver receives the pin.

I think it's about time I write a review about this place. The one good thing I have to say is it's convenient and you can pretty much order what you want or need. The reason why it's getting one star is because I have to put at least a star down or otherwise no star would be put down. My stepson just ordered some things from there. And the delivery person puts all the bags in front of the door so when he opened my front door everything in there broke. Glass bottles broke everything was soaked. This is not the first time nor second or third. This is a constant thing going on with them and their delivery. I think they need to talk to their delivery people and tell them about respect and how to actually properly deliver to somebody's house and not put stuff in front of the door. Basically it's just common sense but not too many people have that. Only way I would recommend this place is if you go there and buy it yourself forget the delivery all your stuff will be destroyed.

I ordered a 4 pack drink with an offer of buy one get one free. It was delivered only one. I used the Support chat box and I was told that I should have ordered 2. But the website was not clear. They refused to give any credit or refund. Buy here at your own risk. I think they have designed the site confusing for this purpose.
Unsafe Driver! Buyer Beware!
My daughter really likes to use this app but she had such a horrendous experience tonight! Her driver got a bit confused and reached out for assistance getting to us. She sent really nasty messages out the blue. When she called I told her I am her mother and she proceeded to literally curse me out! I was stunned! We tried to get this reported and were told we had to report it thru their app. I said I just want a notation on the account to never send that driver again as I’m very worried about my daughter’s safety. The Go Puff rep couldn’t even do that! So please be aware that if you run into an unsafe situation with one of their drivers they cannot help you.
NEVER AGAIN
Ordered 3 meat packs branded 'ready to go' by Tariq Halal, there is no halal verification stamp on it. Used the 3 for 2 deals twice and was charged for all 3 items on both lots. Then the delivery was very late after the driver constantly calling to find my house waste of time as they didnt speak enough english for a conversation. Simple to find my house on google maps. Then wasted all night trying to sort this out with their customer service - sending photos, multiple emails and phone calls. After 6 weeks now - ZERO RESPONSE OR REFUND. NEVER AGAIN.

I have no option to cancel my FAM subscription. They want to charge me for a renewal of services that I am not using. And their customer support representative said that they will not offer refund if I'm charger. At the moment they cannot charge me because the balance of my debit card is 0.

You might be experiencing bad deliveries because they pay their drivers about $4/hour and don't comply with any employment regulations (California)

What a joke – Gopuff lost my cigarettes, blamed “policy”, then tried to shut me up with a survey!
This has to be one of the most infuriating and pathetic experiences I’ve ever had with a delivery app. I ordered from Gopuff specifically for the Chesterfield Red Superking Cigarettes (20pcs) – that was literally the whole point of the order – and the useless staff didn’t even include them. Not in the bag, not delivered, just straight-up missing because of their negligence and carelessness.
I jumped into chat at 4:53am expecting some basic help. What I got was a slow, repetitive, brain-dead circus. The agents kept changing their story – out of stock? Misplaced during packing? Then they admitted the item “became unavailable” and smugly told me they’d “automatically processed a refund”… but I have to wait 2-3 working days for my own money to show up.
I pointed out that due to their negligence and carelessness, the money I was able to spend and use is no longer able to be used as wanted, and all I’m getting as compensation is my money back in days time. I even asked if they think I feel valued as a customer right now. Their response? A scripted load of nonsense: “I completely understand how you’re feeling… but I’m limited to the policy… the item became unavailable so we weren’t able to send a replacement. A refund was automatically processed instead.”
Then, when I still wasn’t finished and said “I am not finished”, they literally tried to close the chat on me! To top it all off, they sent me a survey link asking for feedback. Are you taking the mickey?
No redelivery. No credit. No goodwill. No proper apology. Just lazy corporate nonsense, hiding behind “policy”, and zero accountability. The support was so painfully bad it felt like arguing with a broken robot programmed by people who don’t care about customers.
Gopuff is a complete dumpster fire. They can’t even pack one simple item correctly, and when they mess it up they make you suffer through hours of useless chat, refuse to do anything extra, then try to end the conversation while you’re still talking. Absolute terrible service from start to finish.
I will never, ever order from this pathetic excuse for an app again. Save yourselves the headache and frustration – stay away from Gopuff.

I have all the screenshots from the conversation I have been through and spoken about on here, none of the information stated on this review is without evidence to back it up word for word, when this company first started I was elated to find that they were unique and bespoke and was very much in favour of them, so much so I have been a member with them for months since I discovered them, at first I sang there praises complimenting each customer service member on their ability to resolve the issue and build rapport in a professional, courteous and meaningful manner however it seems that this has now been replaced with cold prescripted copy and paste chat bot or customer service representatives who are now lower paid given the job to just copy and paste a script to a customer and shrug them off in order to ensure the company's profits and prevent them from any gestures of Goodwill compensation of accountability of the situations that they create.
What a shame.... what was a fantastic brand, a new shining company to a pile of Ruin and greed.

A service that lets themselves down. They use "bots" with customer service and the delivery time increases considerably once you place an order. Shame I can't give them zero stars. Their customer service is an absolute shambles.
Lost & lazy
The delivery driver was in the wrong apartment complex I had to walk all the way outside to meet her and top it off my beers were not even cold like I ordered plus I had to carry my 24pk of beers all the way back to my apartment. So now my arms are hurting and I'm very thirsty and now I can't even drink one because it's hot so now I have to wait 😡...... Never again

They gave me the wrong item and instead of giving me another order, they refunded me I never requested for a refund. They just refunded me for no reason I told him I didn’t want a refund. I just wanted of my items. All they told me was have a good day. They won’t even try to help me out.
