Jamie, what an amazing employee. Great knowledge and expert advice. I’ve not experienced customer like this in years. Attentive with advice but not in your face. I got the impression noting was to much while I tried on many walking shoes. Walked away with 2 pairs to suit my needs. I only went to get 1 pair. Jamie was outstanding in every way. Visited Go Outdoors Torquay yesterday to buy some camping chairs and a cooler box and the staff were really outstanding. Help was offered without having to find someone; staff were constantly visible and accessible. They helped carry my items to the checkout, fussed over my dog and were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout. It was a great experience. This is not the first time I have shopped in the store and it has been the same every time, that’s why I felt it deserved a fantastic 5 star review today- consistency.

All the staff were helpful and friendly,I asked a few questions and got the answers I needed.
The man on the checkout called Leon was fantastic, professional witty and very competent. As it was my first time in the store he led me through everything, I'm a member of the defence community and I appreciated his attitude and demeanour. Great guy, he needs promotion or a pay increase.

Helpful and friendly staff dotted around the shop floor, good range of products and a very proactive server on the tills (Holly) who talked us through membership and discounts.

I visited Go Oudoors Torquay Branch yesterday evening and wanted to mention the fabulous customer service provided by Leon and Bec. They could not have been more supportive, and pleasant to work with. We set up a member account in quick time and made a couple of great cost effective purchases. Leon actually noticed my Defence Discount Card which provided another 10% off the non-sales price items, many thanks, I would not have known otherwise. The service was so good, that we even went back in and bought another two chairs. Many thanks and I know we will return soon.

The manager who was on shift earlier today went above and beyond to help me with an issue I was having with a pair of sunglasses I recently purchased. He was very knowledgable, polite and professional. I will always shop here for any outdoor equipment.
