Overall a good experience

I was looking for a really waterproof and durable jacket and Jo, one of the advisors, spent a good deal of effort to help me understand the different options and tech types. Couldn't fault the service and ended up with exactly the coat I needed.

We ordered 2 x pairs of medium Ron Hill tricksters for my husband on click and collect over a week ago. We requested that we collect them from Fox Valley shop in Sheffield. We have not received any emails but as I was near the store last Thursday I popped in to be told my package was waiting to be collected. When we opened the package at home there was only 1 x pair of tracksters. We rung the shop and was told that the other pair were on the way to the store and that we shouldn't have been given the package until the other pair arrived. We're now on day 8 and still no email regarding the 2nd pair. The staff are Fox Valley told me they were having trouble with click and collect - well they are not wrong. Really bad customer service!. How can retailers like Next and Amazon deliver next day but here we are on day 8, no emails and staff just having a laugh about the rubbish service. I request that someone looks into the fact that I only have 1 pair of tracksters and get back to me ASAP. I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING YOUR COMPANY OR USING YOU AGAIN.

Penny was helpful patient and friendly when she served me today. Also I phoned in earlier in the week to ask about specific items and found them as advised.

Attention to detail in finding the right walking boot and fit for my needs Heidi’s knowledge was outstanding. Then at the till Freddie (I believe to be new) was methodical and confident as he had josh overseeing him who was very polite.

Bought everything my daughter needed for her Duke of Edinburgh expedition. Staff were all very friendly. Steve and Freddy were very helpful on walking boots.

Went to buy some walking boots. Steve was really helpful, helping me with different brands and styles while it was busy and helping other customers too.

Steve was very good with helping me with running shoes, despite being quite busy on a Sunday it didn’t feel like anything was too much trouble for him. He’s friendly and knowledgeable of footwear available in store.

Very helpful assistant, Phil. Friendly and polite. Helped to find the best fit of walking boots for my grandson, not the most expensive. A contrast to the assistant we dealt with in a similar shop nearby. (Begins with R)
