Good range of well priced products.
Excellent service from David and Sam

Sam was great and remembered us from last October when she put some trainers to 1 side for us.

I have not had notification that this has arrived in store so obviously cannot comment on product. Presumably the it em is waiting for me to collect

We were on holidays and visited Scarborough for the day. I was looking for some new walking boots and we came across GO. We’ve been members before and visited the Cardiff branch before it closed. I must say David who served us was great and so was all of the other staff at the store. We were allowed to leave our purchases behind the counter as we didn’t want to carry the large bag around with us whilst we walked around sightseeing. Great service.

I ordered online but needed to return the item as it did not fit, returned to my local store and the service was great. I purchased the next size up in store.

Staff were good and helpful, products are good

Sam and Syrona were both very helpful and full of knowledge. Even though my experience of trying to log in to the website with usernames and passwords befuddled me, Sam scanned my membership card and it immediately came up with the details I’d already been entering on the website, and accepted me.
It ended very well with me making several purchases directed to by Syrona.
Thank you very much ladies. You made my trip to Scarborough worthwhile.

I had the distinct pleasure of being looked after by a young gentleman named David earlier today. He was extremely helpful and attentive without my feeling as though I was being smothered. He is a credit to your organisation in my opinion.

Excellent staff everytime I go in, Sam & Luke were very helpful they made me feel so comfortable & at ease.

Served today by Sam, who was very helpful and friendly, and made finding the right item easy.
Very happy with coat, which is lightweight but warm and waterproof.

The Scarborough staff were amazing the other day when I visited. Really bubbly, outgoing and extremely helpful! So chuffed to have been treated like a real person by staff that were knowledgeable and they helped me find exactly what I needed. Very pleased with my new coat.

I went in to buy a knife and was told I could not buy one . I asked why are they I the shop then. And she called the next customer

She had curly hair

I needed to replace a pair of Meindl walking shoes that had failed stitching and went to the Scarborough branch. Luke and the other staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable and I ended up with some Merrell Moab 3 GORE-TEX. Very happy with them so far.

Sound advice helped me choose two very good products.

So, I'm not much of an outdoors type person which means I don't visit shops like this often. Also, I'm not from Scarborough (I guess a lot of people aren't given that it's a holiday destination) and although I am a northern lass myself, the people of Yorkshire have been a delight during our stay just down the coast, David and Sam who served us excelling on that front. As an exercise on customer service they were brilliant. Helpful, knowledgeable, polite, personable ..... a big help when I was completely out of my comfort zone. I bought exactly what I needed at a good price thanks to enlisting in the Go Outdoors club. It's not the biggest or fanciest shop but that doesn't matter if you have good staff. Thank you both and thank you Go Outdoors.
