GO Outdoors - Nottingham Reviews 

I had to exchange a pair of shoes because they were slightly narrow near the toe area of my feet. Lee was exceptionally helpful and supportive with me and helped me get a better pair of shoes that were designed for wider feet. I don’t mind paying an extra fee because quality matters in my eyes. He checked again to see if there was any inconveniences. He is a true asset to Go Outdoors Nottingham as he’s exceptional at his job. I would recommend this store because of staff like Lee.

Never got notification that my goods were in store to click and collect. First I knew they had been returned and refunded. Particularly annoying as I was waiting for shoes to take on my holiday. Not impressed.

No information when product would be delivered to store until I complained. Then amazingly its teady for collection 5 days after ordering!

Dan was brilliant today with my little boy and his bike really took the time to teach him a few things, it was a quick fix and he made sure to take the time to resolve the situation. I was initially disappointed as the bike was only 3 weeks old but the way in which it was resolved completely changed my perspective. What a lovely young man who clearly is helpful and willing to stop what he’s doing and support your customers. I had no clue about bikes and a very upset 12 year old so super thankful for his advice and time!

Keep that man on the team, noted the bike engineer was on break. It wasn’t even his job…screams team player. I’m a manager so know the value of these kind of people.

Quick delivery and well packaged up, though there were three return slips missing. Hoping I can return them to the shop as they didn’t fit.

Was served by Lee in preparation for my trip to Scotland, lovely chap who was knowledgeable, helpful and completely eased me that I had everything needed for my trip. Would definitely recommend and revisit for any future outdoor ventures.

Amazing customer service - so friendly - both Sophie and Francis were really helpful - wish all retail staff were like them!

Courtney went above and beyond to help us secure one of few remaining footprints for our tent bundle. We went to Go Outdoors Derby to buy the limited stock Air600XL tent and they had run out of the foot print so she called our next nearest store in Nottingham and arranged for one to be kept aside so we could pick it up. Teams at both stores were extremely helpful and we managed to walk away with the last tent in stock from
Derby! Phew….thanks Courtney and team!

I haven't received my order yet. I have been waiting over a week for a notification for collection.
Update: I was contacted very quickly after giving a poor review and my issue was resolved. Thank you Go Outdoors. I have improved my rating in response.

Went in to buy a tent for our first family camping trip, was served by Rowan who was very knowledgeable and friendly. Didn’t have the tent we had planned to buy, but she showed us a few alternatives and we were happy. Rest of the staff were also very attentive. Thank you Go Outdoors!

Called into GO Outdoors Nottingham today on the hunt for a new pair of walking boots after losing my grip on a rock and ending up in a stream… all thanks to my furry four-legged friend! 🙄🐶

I originally had a specific pair of boots in mind, but unfortunately they didn’t have my size in stock, so I was left wondering what to go for instead.

Thankfully, Rowan was brilliant. She took the time to help me try a range of different brands and styles, and after trying on several pairs we finally found a pair that fitted my wide feet perfectly.

The only downside was they were more expensive than the boots I’d originally planned to buy. But Rowan then told me about GO Outdoors’ Price Match Promise and didn’t just leave it there she actually helped me find the same boots cheaper online, saving me even more money!

Well… almost. The money I saved ended up going on a new pair of walking socks instead! 😂

Genuinely fantastic customer service from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, and Rowan went above and beyond to make sure I left with the right boots at the best price.

Customer service was absolutely terrible, staff didn’t have a clue and basically couldn’t be bothered all of them just mopping around the shop and hiding from customers and eventually after actually tracking someone down the “can’t be bothered “ attitude was very frustrating
Why am I paying for the go outdoor card and receiving such awful service?
I will not return to the Arnold branch again and I will not be renewing my go outdoor membership again
