Excellent customer service from Katie who took my phone call and kindly reserved a tent for me to collect recognising my request when I arrived and fetching the tent for me, from Malkys and Lewi serving me and helping me carry the tent to the car all three have gone above and beyond my expectations. What a breath of fresh air as a total shopping experience today thank you so much happy camping!! Thanks Ali

Rob was amazing and is a real asset to the Metrocentre branch. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and friendly throughout our visit. Nothing was too much trouble, and he went out of his way to help.
The store had a great range of high-quality premium products, making it easy to find what we were looking for. Overall, it was a very productive and enjoyable shopping experience. Highly recommend.

No issues with the products, but the whole order processing was a joke, ordered for store pick up and waited for an email to say it was ready for collection, some time went by and nothing, I happened to be in the area at the time so called in to check and it was there ready to be collected. I explained I hadn’t received an email yet etc and gave all the order details but wasn’t allowed to get it as I had no physical copy of id on me, but I did have digital copies. I said I would return the next day with physical id, I was told the order would be put to the side for me, on the morning before the store even opened I received a few emails notifying me the order had been processed as returned and refunded. So I had to ring up the store put the items aside and go and purchase them again. Complete and utter joke

Daniel was friendly and helpful at discussing my needs around hiking boots. He kept himself busy by attending to stock near us, and did not add any pressure to help us and did so at a respectful distance. But when I wanted discussions he was there and was most accommodating. I appreciate the time to reach out in my own time.

I was looking for some new walking boots and Andi came over to help me and gave me great advice. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and had no issues with constantly going back and forth to the stock room for me.
I was served at the till by Izzy who was also lovely and very patient, waiting for me to get a voucher activated.
Great customer service from both Andi & Izzy. Will definitely be back when I need to repurchase walking / camping gear.

Easy to order on line got delivered to local store quicker than said very happy excellent service at metro centre store very helpful and friendly staff.

Service was great. Helped find the shoes we wanted and were very friendly and professional. Tom and Dan made it a lovely experience with even my teenager daughter commenting on how nice they had been.

I needed a new pair of waterproof walking boots so as usual visited the metrocentre store.
I knew what I needed but had trouble finding a pair in my size (6) in they styles I liked.
Markus was very helpful though and patient. He brought lots of alternatives out to try on and he found a size 6 in a perfect style for me. 👍 ☺

Josh served me and helped with multiple questions and requests. Fantastic member of staff.

Excellent customer service from Ellie M, who was friendly and helpful, rushing over to tills so we didn't have to wait despite it being after the end of her shift. She was so lovely and professional, even when the till blanked off and she had to change to another.

I was browsing for a new tent and the Sandero 4 was on display. Daniel chatted to me about the tent and answered some queries I had straightaway. It was great to be able to view the tent to gauge head height and size. Daniel was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The tent being on sale was a bonus as a member and I got a real bargain.

Good service but take a minute to get it out the back

Ordered 2 items to collect, received notification that second item was ready to collect. Thought I'd wait until both items were ready before I actually went to collect. Unfortunately I never received a notification for the first item and then both items were refunded as I had not collected.

I was impressed with how helpful your staff are, especially Nicole. She patiently supported me when l came to the Metro centre store with my son, looking for a light waterproof coat. My son is non verbal and autistic and Nicole went out of her way to engage with him in spite of his communication challenges. I rarely experience this in retail, but l wanted you to know that you have a real star ⭐ on your staff.

Went to go outdoors to look at some new hiking shoes for myself and the staff were very helpful and friendly i asked for a couple different shoes in my size and they brought them out and explained differences between them which was very helpful. When paying I was served by Lewi and he was very kind and patient!

The customer service was second to none.
I needed a replacement tent pole and Lewis and James , with their expert knowledge spent 45 mins fixing my existing tent pole saving me a lot of of money. They laid all the poles out on the floor and worked together to piece it together.
Brilliant service.
It is so refreshing to retail workers who are passionate and knowledgeable about their products.
I would highly recommend this shop .

We did not even know there was a GO Outdoors in Gateshead until today. Came in to get some new hiking shoes and we had Daniel help us who was absoutely brilliant! Came out with twp brand new pairs, can't wait to wear them!

I visited today and my kids (and me) loved the colouring station set up.

Shopping with 2 kids is never easy but this was a life saver. I could get what I needed without them saying I’m bored.
