Regular visitors at this store. Brilliant staff who go out of their way to help, even when they are clearly busy. Particular kudos to Vicky who was terrific once again. Great to find customer service like this still on offer!

Order made on click and collect. Acknowledged immediately, followed up with advisory that order was ready for collection within an hour. Duly collected from store. No faffing about.

Absolutely brilliant service by James today regarding buying fishing equipment, he went above and beyond. My husband walked out that shop with a big smile on his face. Happy customer's

A massive thank you to the team at this store for helping my partner and myself with an issue with a bike we purchased from Blacks online. It had arrived with a part missing and I’d not been able to get a response after emailing Blacks and leaving reviews. I eventually spoke to their customer service (who was lovely) who advised I take it to a Blacks store to return - Liverpool was my nearest Blacks, the person there was very nice and helpful but couldn’t help at that store (clothing only) so advised I take it to Go Outdoors in Bootle as the companies are connected and they have a specialist bike section. The staff at Go Outdoors went above and beyond to help me when they could have easily told me to return it on the Blacks website. Two staff members from the bike section worked on the bike for most of the day, replacing the missing part and then dealing with a part which had been sent damaged. They didn’t charge me anything or make me feel bad for the amount of work they had to put it, and I left with a great, working bike - after weeks of trying to get an answer from Blacks. Do not use the Blacks website (no complaints with the retail store), go straight to Go Outdoors, it’s not worth the slightly cheaper price they sometimes sell products for. Thank you again to Go Outdoors Bootle - great management and a friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful team.

Sean and Emhad were very helpful. Sean spent time giving me excellent advice and was patient whilst I pondered over purchases. Recommend this store highly for outdoor gear!

We visited our Go Outdoors Liverpool branch today to purchase an air tent. Morgan was the assistant who gave his expert knowledge on various tents. We were very impressed with the air tent he highly recommended, to which we purchased. He was so helpful and courteous, he answered all our questions about the tent with expertise and his own experience of the tent. He is an asset to the company and he made our visit perfect. Had an issue with a 12 month old tent air beam used twice. Ryan and the team tried to locate a replacement air beam in store and found one in another store, a short drive away. They asked to hold it for me. Went to other store and collected replacement. Great customer service, thanks.

Becky and jenny went out of their way to help me. I went in for a bundle deal for a tent footprint and carpet and unfortunately only the foorprint was available in stock. They took time to talk me through a few options and in the end gave me the footprint for 50% off but also explained options for still getting the bundle deal. Thanks so much for taking the time to help! I will be back soon :)

Went to Liverpool shop for a waterproof this morning and I didn’t what to get. Paul was helpful picking out a decent coat without breaking the bank. Great friendly banter in between and his great knowledge made the long trip worth while.

I brought in a multitool with a missing part. Vicky dealt with the issue very well. She offered an alternative unit which also turned out to be defective. She then used her initiative to find a solution that we could both accept. Throughout I was dealt with politely and respectfully. Well done Vicky!

Wow the rudeness of the colleague on the till was appalling needs to go back and do basic training on her manners. No please, no thank you, no smile just pure attitude. If you don't like working in retail don't work it's a choice.
