Canterbury store is always pleasure to bust. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Today I was helped by Alistair collecting my bike from the repair shop. Fantastic service and great value for money. Thank you

Tried to take unwanted top back to store and was told had to send back!!!
Your website states store return as an option so wasting my time is not acceptable.

Craig was so helpful in guiding me with buying my first pair of climbing shoes. We went through lots of different styles and sizes until we found something that worked. He also told me what sort of fit to look for with climbing shoes (as I now know it's completely different to normal shoes). Over all a really great experience and Craig was so knowledgeable and patient

I bought a pair of bouldering shoes. I decided that I needed a different size. They increased the price in store by £5 overnight so I ordered them on line with a blue light discount.
I then tried to return the online shoes in store as it said I could on the delivery note and online but was told instore I couldn’t.
So then I had to take them to be returned via the post office.
A waste of my time and directly against their own written policy.

I went to return goods in store “Canterbury” as I need a smaller size and they said I couldn’t return to store, however the website said I can - poor service so disappointed.

Missing Parcels and Staff Misconduct
To: Go Outdoors Management / DPD Corporate Support
I raise the concern here for unacceptable service and loss of property experienced at Gooutdoor Canterbury branch, which operates as a DPD collection point.
On 31stJan and 1st Feb 2026, I dropped off ten (10) return items at this location. It has now been two weeks, and I have discovered that three of those items are missing with DPD tracking says they are still at Canterbury store. This represents a 30% loss rate, which is entirely unacceptable for a professional transit point. furthermore, there is one missing item found still on the store shelf after nearly 2weeks!
Furthermore, I am deeply dissatisfied with the conduct of the staff members on duty, specifically Store Manager on duty Craig B. and Supervisor Aleed. When I sought assistance regarding the missing property, their behaviour was:
Dismissive: I was told that the missing items "had nothing to do with them and they don't know where they are and having no responsibilities for keeping them safe......despite the store being the last point of confirmed possession.
Unprofessional: The tone and attitude displayed were rude and, at times, felt like bullying rather than a sincere attempt to resolve a customer issue.
As a designated DPD collection point, Go Outdoors Canterbury assumes a duty of care for parcels accepted on-site. The claim that the store bears no responsibility for items lost under its roof is both illogical and a breach of service standards.

Jed and Tom we’re very helpful when we were in the store. We were looking for our DofE equipment and they went above and beyond to help us. They gave us good recommendations and provided brilliant customer service
