We went to buy a tent and some camping equipment, my phone died so I couldn't use my discount. Staff offers to put my whole order to the side and let us come back for it so we didn't have to find everything again. Really nice and professional people working there, shop is well stocked up so you most likely will find what you're looking for.

I had an issue with a pair of Meindl Philadelphia shoes where the stitching had failed again. After initially being given incorrect information at another store regarding the warranty, I contacted the Blackburn branch and spoke with Eleanor, who took the time to explain the situation properly and advised me to bring the shoes in.

I arrived just before closing time, but Eleanor and Dave from the footwear department were both incredibly helpful and professional. They carefully checked everything, honoured the warranty process correctly, and helped me choose a replacement pair of Salomon shoes as a replacement.

Despite it being the end of the day, neither of them rushed me and they went above and beyond to sort the issue out. What had been a very frustrating experience was completely turned around thanks to their excellent customer service.
A big thank you to Eleanor and Dave for their help – they genuinely made my day. Blackburn GO Outdoors is a credit to the company.

Went in for maggots for fishing paul in the fishing area was very helpful helped fine what we needed gave my 11 year old good advice and helped myself fined the line I needed great advice for us beginner fishers and lovely bloke will dedo go back again
