2 separate occasions i purchased google play codes for specific events for a game and both times i was not able to redeem my play code for about a week missing the event i bought the credits for. Knowing we cannot get a refund for gift card they hold off until we dont need the credit before we can use them they dont tell us before hand that we cannot load or use the credits we pay $20 or more for at least 3 to 7 days later with no escalation of the issue

My son downloaded Bash The Teacher app

My son downloaded Bash The Teacher app, saying it was a fun game, 6 hours later my bank contacts me to state suspicious activity on my account. My son had pressed the shopping trolley 9 times at a cost of £9.99 per time. Tried to get a refund but no joy. Be Aware it could happen to you. I won't be letting my son use a game that has in app purchases. I don't know what casts as a wrong purchase to be able to ask for a refund.

I literally have no idea why they…

I literally have no idea why they haven't been sued yet. You CANNOT advertise, and yes Google Play is liable if they accept payment from a company to run ads on their platform. So many "look at these hundreds of dollars I got from playing this game for a week" ads. I've signed up for, and took screenshots of every step and lie from a bunch of these "games" and recorded a lot of these deceptive ads, along with Google Plays response, (not much that they can do 🤷‍♀️). I suggest you all do the same. I'm going to be prepared when litigation starts.

Google Play enables fraudulent companies

Google Play does the opposite of protecting consumers from fraudulent companies. They enable fraud. I bought a subscription to DAZN to stream the rugby world cup. DAZN falsely advertise on Google that they have rugby. They do not. After realising my mistake I get passed around between Google and DAZN and they will not give me my money back

I am beyond disappointed with my…

I am beyond disappointed with my experience purchasing a Google Play gift card from a machine in Dubai. I was excited to use the card to purchase some apps and games on my Emirati Google Play account, but I was met with nothing but frustration and disappointment.

First of all, the machine only accepts cash, which is already inconvenient for those who prefer to use electronic payment methods. But that's just the beginning of this Google Play gift card nightmare. After inserting my hard-earned money into the machine, I eagerly typed in my Emirati Google Play account number, only to be met with a message stating that the payment option was in US dollars. How is it possible that a gift card purchased in Dubai, in the local currency, cannot be used on an Emirati Google Play account?

I immediately contacted Google Play customer service, expecting them to provide a solution or at least a refund. But to my dismay, they were unhelpful and unapologetic. They simply blamed it on a "technical issue" and said that they cannot refund the card or add it to my account. So essentially, I am left with a useless piece of paper that I paid for with my hard-earned money.

This is a clear scam by Google Play and I am appalled by their lack of accountability. It is unacceptable to sell a gift card that cannot be used on the intended account or provide a refund in such a situation. This shows a complete disregard for their customers and their money.

I urge everyone to avoid purchasing Google Play gift cards from machines in Dubai and to be cautious of any payment options in dollars. It seems like just another tactic for Google Play to make a quick buck without any regards for their customers' satisfaction. Shame on you, Google Play. You have lost a loyal customer and I will be spreading the word to my friends and family to stay away from your deceitful gift card machines.

What customer service?

There was a £70.99 payment in respect of coinmaster in my payment history that I didn't recognise. Contacted Google play immediately and got email back saying it would investigate. I also contacted coinmaster who confirmed that i had not made that purchase and sent a copy of that confirmation email to google play. The payment quickly disappeared from google play payment history but after 2 days google play took the money from my bank account anyway. Google play have refused a refund by sending me an email you cannot reply to. Neither can I contact them on their automated chat or anything else because you require a merchant ID and they have removed it from payment history. Scammers and customer service is a joke.

AVG unworkable on GooglePlay

AVG and Google Play appear incompatible.
Having paid a one year subscription with the first 7 days being a free trial, the free trial appears to have a break point and blocked continued use of the product.
No obvious solution from AVG who do not recognise the one year subscription payment.
Suggest Not accepting a 7 day free trial as this seems to block the ongoing one year subscription, Or simpler - do not purchase AVG products via Google play.

AVG help have advised but are unable to resolve. One year subscription lost.

Bad suggestions and no longer possible…

Bad suggestions and no longer possible to disable only some notifications, like the "Game of the week".
I don't care about such suggestions! Received voucher or sales on games from my wishlist is ok, but I hate when people try to suggest me their garbage, especially about Free to play games!
Beside, the option to disable notification about the "Game of the week" was available before but it vanished!

Horrific games and fake reviews

Horrific games. Fake reviews. And any Google search will find thousands of websites offering app reviews for a fee.

No wonder so many bad game reviews yet game is still in the 4. something range.

Just another fake site.

Games are garbage. Play pass is garbage. But they don't care. Just want money from app developers.

Stupid prats.

Must be run by zuckerberg kids.

Or maybe the same numptys whi run Amazon prime.

Who knows. Still brain-dead.
