Dishonest and Un-Christian Business…
Dishonest and Un-Christian Business Practices: The Good and the Beautiful markets itself as a Christian homeschool curriculum, but in my experience, their business practices amount to dishonesty and unethical conduct. They have no customer service phone number and refuse to speak with customers directly to resolve concerns — a major red flag in itself.
Despite being warned by another homeschooling parent to stay away from The Good and the Beautiful, I was persuaded by their advertising and purchased their materials to supplement my child’s education. Due to a family emergency, I was late returning the books—just outside their 30-day return window. I sent the books back anyway, and the company issued only a 20% refund on my $250 order. When I requested to have the books returned to me instead of accepting such a small refund, they refused to return either the books or the remainder of my payment.
This experience feels like outright theft — especially disappointing from a company that claims to operate under Christian values. I strongly caution other parents to think twice before trusting this company with their money or their children’s education.
