Total Dodgy scammers

Total Dodgy scammers. Bought Addidas shoes online and after 1 month or so the sole started peeling. Derek at cus service said to cut tongues out of shoe and email photo. Seemed strange so I did that and reordered another pair of Addidas shoes, slightly more expensive then previous (paid the extra). After only a week it happened again. I only realised because grass kept getting stuck in the gap. Same procedure again by Derek. ordered nearly the most expensive pair (paid a lot extra) as getting sick and tired of this - Ecco shoes, they arrived and the fit was so bad, really long and narrow. Advised Derek again and requested a refund at this stage. he said no as I accepted store credit for the upgraded and would only refund me the difference of the upgrade to the Ecco shoes. He said because I accepted the store credit than any request for refund due a to a warranty would be void. He never told me about this the first time, as I would have just got a refund and tried somewhere else. So I am left with $149 credit on their online store I don't want to use as I only wanted shoes. Anyway, I bought some balls, a ball marker and a black ball marker pen. All arrived except the black market pen. Emailed Derek and he said I would have to pay for postage again if I wanted it. Postage was $9.90 approx and pen costs $4.22. So they forgot to pack but I have to pay for postage again, unbelievable, you can't make this stuff up ! So please avoid, use Golf Clearance Warehouse instead :)

Unreliable delivery and poor customer service

Their website states delivery to metro areas within 1-2 days. I ordered 6 items. 2 were delivered on day 3 and the others I am yet to receive one week later.
The customer service (email or text only) tries to dodge the issue and is not helpful at all. Very disappointed.

Golfbox need to revise their Return Policy

Sent the wrong size shirts and then told I have to pay for the postage to return them!!

Last year I was sent the wrong shirt and told I had to pay for the postage to return it.

I shouldn't need to contact Consumer Affairs to have issues such as these fixed fairly.

Poor poor service and waste of time.

So I'm going to start by normally saying I have used golfbox quite a bit in the past and have had good service and good products.

However on this instance golfbox has lost a custom through me and I will not return. After going in looking for a matching 4 and 7 iron of any sort at boorgan I was told to try my luck at Osborne park, couldn't be bothered checking for me. I travel another 30 minutes to get there, which the only had one 7 iron and no 4 iron. The didnt want to take a 4 iron from a set which they had in stock to mach the 7 and order a new 4 iron to get the sale, they told me to go online and you'll have to wait 3 weeks for your "off the shelf clubs". They didnt want to call another store to check, so again I called the joondalup store to which they said they had a 4 and 7 they could supply me with. So I travelled down 1hr first thing that day only for them to say "oh we dont have the 4, only a 7. Just for the mess around they could have taken a 4 off the floor and reordered another one, and again all I got was I cant help you. Out of all of this the amount of time wasted, huge lack of effort and zero compassion from their staff I will never use golf box again.
Poor poor poor service.

Terrible online service from…

I had a really disgusting experience at GolfBox. I made a complaint in-store about how I was treated, but the manager Josh dismissed me by saying, ‘I’ve known this guy for 4 years, I don’t know you.’ That kind of response is absolutely unacceptable.

Can someone from please contact me with the correct contact details for a senior manager or head office so I can escalate this matter

Poor Customer Service

Within HOURS of placing my order I noticed the exact item was reduced by a further $2 & then put in the clearance section to also take a further 20% off. I contacted them immediately as my order was still in the processing stage. Derek was extremely unhelpful & firm. Did not seem to care. Said that because I'd used Clubhouse rewards towards the purchase (which was only $20), that they were unable to edit my order. Not sure why that has anything to do with the matter but again, just shifting the focus & wiping their hands.

Loyalty Points Scam

Received an email in February from GolfBox saying that my loyalty points would be expiring at the end of March 2025. I went on to the website and searched for points and it stated that provided I make a purchase before the end of March, all the accrued loyalty points that I have would have a new expiry date for six months from the date of the new purchase. On that basis I went into GolfBox in March and purchased something from them so that my points that I had accrued previously would have a new validity. Last week, I wanted to use these points that have occured but when I logged in I noticed all the points have been removed from my account. I questioned GolfBox in regards to this and even the staff member who chatted with me initially said that it seemed there was an error in their system and this had to be investigated. A few days on, I received an email saying that they will honour my points for the purchase in March however all the other points will not be returned back onto my account. They also sent me a screenshot of their new terms and conditions on points which stated that points would expire after six months regardless. I had over 8,000 ($200 in vouchers) points on my account which they just wiped off because of the new policy. This has to be the worst loyalty program I've ever come across and I don't think I will ever be purchasing anything from GolfBox ever again as principally they are just out there to make money and loyalty doesn't mean anything to them. Their customer service is questionable as they do not have the decency to reply to emails. I'll be very careful when it comes to points as it seems GolfBox has rules that change all the time and if you're not keeping a close eye on their new conditions you will definitely be hit like I just was. Looking forward to seeing for major competition from the east coast Golf Outlets to come here to WA and teach them a thing or 2 about loyalty

Do not buy equipment from Golf Box

I purchased a new buggy from Golf Box.
The buggy’s faulty. The cover does not close and the front wheel needs a screw driver to turn and pliers to pull out.
After five emails to Golf Box, they have suggested I use a hair dryer on the cover as this may somehow help it stay shut. Golf Box has not acknowledged the issue with the wheel. When I advised Golf Box their solution is unacceptable, as this is a band new buggy for which I paid hundreds, Golf Box are now ignoring my emails. Golf Box does not have a phone number so it’s impossible to contact them.
I have referred the matter to Consumer Affairs.
DO NOT BUY EQUIPMENT FROM GOLF BOX.

Their service is very unsatisfactory.

I ordered 2 32 inch pants. The tag says 32 inch but the actual size is 35 inch. I had no choice but to wear the clothes, so I wore them once. They sent me a defective product but said I can't return it because I wore it. I think the principle is that if you sent a defective product, you should return it or exchange it for whatever reason, but they are ignoring them.Their service is very unsatisfactory.

Not what they used to be.

Had an issue with 3 orders in the last 6 months. Two drivers sent with a shaft other than listed and the latest a hybrid with a deep scratch on the top that they admitted it they knew about. I was expecting a lightly used club not a damaged one. Buying from Golfbox has become a raffle and customer service is no longer. I’d avoid.
