I went yesterday to a summer fayre in The Netherlands (Libelle zomerweek) and came across Golden Curl. A very friendly English speaking guy convinced my sister and me about the new infrared curler and straightener and at the end of the day we bought a curler asking again if this was an infrared one which he confirmed. Today reading into this product I realised he sold us a standard curler and not the infrared one. When we went back, quite a journey but we felt so cheated, he denied he had told us the curler was infrared technology, only the straightener. We knew he was trying to talk himself out of it and he got really furious and walked away to the manager. Another member of staff told us again it was an infrared one. When the manager confirmed that while the website says something different she gave us our money back and when I confronted her with the fact that everyone tells us something else she told us she would talk to the company. When we left I checked and the straightener they are selling is also not infrared. They are lying and trying to get rid of old models. I felt very unsatisfied even though I had my money back and was disappointed with myself I didn’t warn other customers.
Very disappointing a luxury brand like that has to treat their customers like this. Who can you trust?

I returned a faulty pair o straighteners under guarantee and they were replaced. Very good communication.

Very good and friendly customer service quick replacement of the item. The only thing that is a little odd that one has to pay €25 for a replacement even if you have a five years warranty, but in relation to the rear price of the golden curl styler it’s still a good price for a brand new replacement.

Hi, my hair straightener was defective so I called Golden Curl. After some photos and a detailed description of the problem I was sent a new one.
I’m happy with the new one and with the result.

I tried the Golden Curl curler at Centre Commercial Maremagnum in Barcelona! The curls form in just 3 seconds, and the curler never burned my hair. The glove also protects my hand! Nathalie is so nice and welcoming!!! Honestly, a 5-star curler!

My 2nd pair of “The gold” straighteners. Love them! My previous ones stopped working but after contacting customer services to exercise my warranty & paying a small fee to have a replacement sent out I am very happy with the service. Only thing is, it was all a little slow but to be expected as I was dealing with somebody in Germany and I am in the uk.
