Always use Go Compare to check the market rates for Car, House & Travel Insurance after receiving renewal quotes from existing insurer. Usually find I can make a saving as most insurers now do not recognise loyalty so you have to shop around.

I received a reminder from Gocompare…
I received a reminder from Gocompare that my car insurance renewal was due 2June 2026. I went ahead with RAC and paid initial deposit
Then I realised that my current policy doesn't come up for renewal until 30 August
I've now managed to cancel the policy with Rac but have been charged £30. This can't be right
What are Gocompare going to do about it?
