From booking the service online, which was very user friendly, to the engineer arriving we were kept updated. Communication was very good. Engineer was polite and service was carried out without any issues. Would highly recommend.

The engineer that came round was great, efficient, polite and clear with communicating what he was doing and what was going on. I think his name was George

Excellent service from the engineer Mike!
Mike messaged me the day before to let me know what time he would be arriving for my appointment, which was really appreciated.
He was very pleasant, polite and professional throughout. The work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard.
A job well done! Thank you, Mike, for your excellent service.

Booked solar and battery's install. I was given a date for scaffolding and the install they rang a day before scaffolding was due to go up to cancel. Then gave new date for both only to ring 2 days before install to cacel again. Have now got new dates again 4 weeks in the future let's see what happens. Would not be so bad but I have some small construction prep to lay cables under ground which has no been done twice to to be filled in. REALLY BAD SERVICE.

Engineer arrived on time and had good knowledge of wat he was doing, and worked in a clean and efficient way

After I'd shown interest in a battery installation, I was contacted frequently (to the point where I had to ask them to stop whist I had time to fully consider). I then agreed to a system, signed and returned the contract and gave a deposit of 1/3 since then it's been all on me to chase and chase. Promised call backs never happen. And to top it off they didn't act on my signed contract for five weeks and then required me to sign again.

We have been with Glowgreen since they installed our boiler. Always efficient and cost effective.
Our engineer this time was Jamie. He turned up on time and completed our boiler service with no issues.
Very polite and tidy.

I opted for GG having had a very helpful and patient sales person advising, having had a reasonable quote, and having seen their very good Also TrustPilot scores and independent reviews.
On the positive side
The panels and battery were eventually installed and are working fine.
Most of the tradespeople were good (especially the electricians and the roofer who had to work solo because his mate was called to another job to cover illness).
Problems:
1. Delay.
GG quote
Got quote and paid initial deposit 11 Dec 25, contract signed 19 Dec. Scaffolding booked for 18 Mar; installation finally completed 30 Apr 26.
I was warned getting DNO (Grid) approval could take a number of weeks and cause delay. This was achieved by 9 Jan 26.
Turned out the scaffolders were sub-contracted (to a less-than reliable firm) as part of a sequence of other factors which delayed both installation and removal.
2. Wrong roof tiles
Part of the delay was because the assessment of the roof was by photo and they depended on me to advise the type of roof tiles (put in 25 years earlier). I'm not a builder. It turns out the panel rail fixing brackets were for a different type of concrete tile so the first installer had to await different brackets arriving.
3. Comms.
During these nearly seven weeks of installation I got little useful help or information from the various people I rang and emailed. It was always 'sorry', being 'chased up', or 'looked into', but no actual explanation. Also, see #7 below.
4. Tesla refund
I was initially told there was an offer of £750 refund with Tesla batteries. It turned out that it's £325 per battery for up to two batteries. I only had one battery.
5. Waste removal
Our garage was full of waste which took 8 days to be removed. The car had to to be left outside for this period. I had assumed the installer would take the waste with them when they finally finished the job and left but it needed a separate subcontractor to get the job done.
6. TV reception
After installation, the TV reception was significantly impaired and we had to get a TV person in to diagnose and resolve the problem (the aerial in the roof space needed to be moved to a different place away from directly under the panels, and have a signal booster added).
7. Follow-up
On 25 Apr (i.e. before the rubbish had been cleared and Before the final payment made) I was approached by GreenGlow for feedback about the installation. I was too annoyed at that stage to give considered feedback. It has taken until now for me to feel able to do so neutrally.
In short: the seven week installation period was *very* frustrating indeed (1/5). Once the work was finished and waste removed the system works well, though (5/5).
Thus overall my 3/5 score.
Fitter luke great service great good comunication from office and fitter thankyou

The installation was flawless and Conner the installer was a true customer service individual as well as being very friendly. The electrical installation went better than expected and Chris even came back in Friday evening to check in a problem which was not as a result of his work - in this day and age truly great service.

Sean was very thorough with the boiler service. Clean and tidy and I felt that he had taken extra care to make sure everything was safe and well prepared for the winter.

Great product boiler and price. The installation went well and we are happy with our new boiler. Would recommend this service to all.

Installer was great. Initial boiler was incorrect and didn't fit despite providing measurements and photos. Didn't know when different stages were happening including collection of incorrect boiler or delivery of new one. As mentioned the installer was great and got the challenging job done professionally. Still having issues with finance agreement being messed up and to be fair we're not sure if that's GlowGreen or finance company but frustrating all the same. The customer care team at GlowGreen are friendly and seem to be limited by red tape in getting things done. All in all we probably wouldn't recommend using them but would recommend the installer.

We had an agreed date for installation, so I booked my last 2 days annual leave. The scaffolding was supposed to go up 5 days before. This was agreed, so my wife stayed in all day, no show. To be told lunch time the consecutive day. No show. Then the Saturday, so I stayed in, no show. They turned up the Monday.
Installation started, but had to be stopped scaffolding loose and insecure. No sign of electrician.
To then be told scaffolding needed to be redone.
Solar panels finalised on 3rd day. No sign of electrician.
Some nearly a wk later electrician sorted it all.
With all the issues I was told the DNO would be prioritised.
I then got an aftersales call, went through it all, to be told the DNO would be prioritised.
10 working day after install, no signs of DNO. Called to be told it would be prioritised.
1mth on and its still not completed.
So much false hope, so many will do this, will do that.
I seriously would recommend anyone else. Please do not use.
Fantastic value for money, easy service to use. Great customer care and after care

Mike, my gas engineer contacted me on the day to give me a three hour window for my appointment.
He arrived within this time slot and was friendly, professional and efficient in servicing my boiler.
Thank you Mike.
