don't get a mortgages with them

I have several mortgages, originally with Alta bank, which got bought by Glacier Bank. That is when the problems started. Several times a year I would get requested for proof of insurance, for 2 or 3 years. I would deliver the insurance certs for each property only to be challenged again. I complained loudly, got connected to the manager of the department and things got better for a couple of year. We are now back to being challenged for insurance certs. We have not change insurance companies. I find this incompetence and harassment highly frustrating. The people are friendly and helpful, but we seem to be in the same place we were 5 years ago.

Bad faith actors

They transferred one of my accounts to a different bank without asking my permission or notifying me. Then they told me I was not eligible for e statements. Before this debacle I was able to download my statements online. Now they're telling me that I never was able to do that, which is a lie. They act as if it is their money and I am not a valued customer.

Behind the time

Call center is a joke. Will waste 5 to 15 minutes of your time and then they transfer you to your local office where they’ll solve the problem instead of just letting you go there in the first place. The mobile online banking app is crap. it will drive you crazy, sad part about both the call center and the mobile app is the glacier Bancorp knows they are a bunch of crap. My local branch gets five stars.

I've decided to do a few bank reviews…

I've decided to do a few bank reviews in my area of places we've used for personal and business. Glacier Bancorp bought out Altabancorp which had bought out American Fork Bank in our area. This was a few years ago and things have never been the same. Money is not available in a timely manner. Fees aren't too bad if you keep on top of things, but you REALLY have to watch it. Since the Glacier Bank merger, the software has never run similarly. I have been unable to hook up credit cards online for payments. I continually have to communicate with the bank to make sure our cards get paid on time or we are slapped with a service charge. We eventually found out that they are having difficulty changing over to their "new system" (or Glacier Bank system). This "new system" is TERRIBLE!! It has a ton of bugs and is horrible to navigate and user set up!! I'm still working on both the Altabank websites and Glacier Bank websites to be able to take care of all my banking needs. We are currently looking for an alternative for our banking needs. This bank is NOT user-friendly (although I love our rep there she is AMAZING and I often ask myself why she's still working there!? :)
