Horrible experience with this company

Horrible experience with this company. I ordered ten days early for a Christmas Eve delivery. They charge 15.00 in “shipping fees” and a 5.00 “signature fee”. They delivered three days late, after charging an extra 20.00, and my family said the basket was much smaller than what I ordered. HUGE rip off!

They promised to help and fooled me.

I was planning to order a gift basket for a friend for the birth of a child.

I couldn't do it because of a bug in the order form on the website. I contacted the support service, where they promised to fix the problem within a day. I waited a few days, but the problem was never fixed.

I don't trust this service and I highly recommend not contacting them.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever! Ordered Birthday gift box 10 days ahead, with the delivery date specified. Did not get an order confirmation email until I emailed their customer service. The box was not delivered on the day specified. Instead it was delivered two days later, when it was too late for the Birthday greeting. During all that waiting time I was not able to track the order, and customer service was either unresponsive or not helpful if responded. Tried to cancel the order but got no response. Their web site is useless when it comes to order status info, refund request, or cancellation. You can only order and pay your money, and that's all you are allowed to do on their web site! Had to open a dispute with my credit card issuer.
Never again I will be using this company!

Unethical practices

By the way, Gift Tree does NOT allow bad reviews on their site!! Shame on me for not doing my due diligence before I spent over $500 with their company. They are a real scam! Disgusting company!

Bad Experience I am posting here because my review is…

I am posting here because my review is not appearing on Gifttree’s website.
I am very disappointed with a recent purchase of the Good as Gold Gift Basket. It was a sympathy gift and I had the opportunity to actually see at the memorial service. It did not resemble what was pictured in the least. The basket was a different color and it was pretty small. I have ordered from this company in the past and it was always a good experience. I am very upset because I feel that I was completely ripped off for what I paid. I will NEVER do business with this company again!!!

WHY SEND SO MUCH DARK CHOCOLATE AND REFUSE TO EXCHANGE IT FOR MILK CHOCOLATE, ETC.???

I order 3 Gift Tree gift baskets (the
GOLDEN GOURMET CLASSIC GIFT BASKETS for $159.47 each) for my eight grandchildren, ages 30 to age 12. They all love candy, especially chocolate so I thought it was a great choice for them. My grandchildren live in 3 different cities. Two gifts from Gift Tree were acceptable to them. The third gift had MORE THAN an abundant supply of DARK CHOCOLATE. My three grandchildren who received this “Gift” were disappointed. When I discussed this with Gift Tree, they essentially said “Too bad”! It was the “chance” I took when I bought their basket that they would send what they had available in the baskets! They offered my grandkids NO substitute for all of the DARK CHOCOLATE candy they hate. Their Mother offered to send all of the Gift
Tree back. Gift Tree also did not even offer a replacement for all of that DARK CHOCOLATE.
Needless to say, I will never use Gift Tree for gifts again and I will make sure that everyone I know will be familiar with my negative experiences with them and use someone other than them for their services.
I truly wish I had read the reviews of this 40 million-dollar company before I trusted it to make my grandchildren happy this past Christmas (2024)!

Avoid this company.

I ordered a Culiau Customiser Engraving Pen from GiftTree three months ago. I was sent a different product which would have cost far less. The product they sent is not suitable for purpose as it is far less powerful and will not perform the tasks I ordered the Culiau for. I have contacted gifttree.com repeatedly and did not receive any replies. They have also failed to return my phone calls. They are still advertising Culiau Customiser Engraving Pen on their website. Avoid this company.

UNPROFFESIONAL PRACTICES

I called with anticipation and talked to a representative to make some orders. First they changed some because they were sold out. After I choose some others they had issues with the order so they reached back the next day. Then, 2 days after someone reached out saying that the information was incomplete, which I provided to the sales rep. Then after one day I received 2 separate messages saying that unfortunately they wouldn't be able to place 2 orders due to state regulations... The sales rep just acted as it was normal and I had to choose a replacement.

Do NOT trust this company

Do NOT trust this company! I bought a basket for over $100 five days prior to the requested delivery date. They did not request Fedex for 5 days though they had a created label. As a result, the basket was not due for delivery until 2 days AFTER the requested date. I used their chat to request updates as NOBODY answered their help phone line during business hours. They continued to confirm an on-time delivery even though the basket had not been picked up.

Received a catalog in the mail and called the same day to order a basket for Christmas. The price was $25 more than printed in the catalog. They said they had a price increase, not a good way to do business.

I had exactly the same experience as the Niagara guy!

I had exactly
the same problem as the Niagara buyer.
At the end of the order they told me that the 15% discount is not applicable to my order, even when the 15% off sign was showing on the screen all the way to the. Checkout!
The place is a rip off and looks like Wasington State does not care about it!

I signed up for a discount, and when tried to use it it wasnt accepted... there was nowhere in the smallprint that excluded the basket i had chosen, i spoke with supervisor and manager and they said a message had come to them yesterday saying not to apply the discount to that basket ... so they flat out backtracked on the offer and refused to honour it - they lied - and didnt care about losing my business... tehy offered me a credit that was half or less of what the savings would have been ... very very very upset ... such poor business practice ... they even acknowledged it was bad but wouldnt do anything!!!! what the....

SCAM ALERT!!

SCAM ALERT!!! I paid for the delivery of an order before Thanksgiving, but it never arrived. I was told I have store credit for the product that was never received, but no voucher or any slip to get the store credit.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. Brought 2 plants off them, costed $77 (one plant was on sale was normally $110) so only paid $50 for the plant. When it comes to the day of me receiving the plant. The plant was not even 3 cm big. Even the description said will come in a 14 cm pot. Except I received a 6cm pot with the plant. Ripped me off. I will never come back.

Never received my item

Never received my item, no response to numerous emails to 3 different email address. Got Afterpay involved as that's who I paid through and they are struggling to get hold of them too. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! TOTAL SCAM
