This company is a scam. You will redeem their gift card for a merchant gift card that can never be used. The merchant has no record of the gift card and giftcard.com customer service is of no help. Total scam. Do not waste your money.

Scam Gift Card = Sheer Frustration
A SCAM "Network co. of Black-Hawks" swooping in for their prey (your Gift-card funds). If only I was aware of their game upfront could have saved myself a lot of unnecessary stress & frustration. Scam Designed to be peddled for unsuspecting purchasers. Their Network Game begins once purchased; an endless loop of trying to activate & use ensues. Directly after receiving an email from their network and providing the number they request their scam is complete. They Drain your gifted funds for their own use. They gain your loss. Only good news is - universal law is Steal Now, Pay Later. Chew on that that Black Hawk Network.
Long: Worse ever frustrating experience. A non-gift, gift card i received a giftcards.com gift card that gives immense frustration with no foreseeable resolution. Unless intention in purchasing these is to po recipients "never purchase or gift them to anyone." Trust they are Definitely Scammers! Directly after providing a # they requested off of the back of the card, funds were DRAINED & no longer available for some place called Omnyweb that I've never heard of & have no idea what it even is. giftcards.com is a network of dirty SCAMMERS. From the get-go made as difficult as possible to activate. Once activated is INVALID for use even though there is clearly a balance. There is NO Customer Service, or one that can be trusted if they were reachable. As in an "honest human being." All stinking automated voice that is a vicious repetitive dog-chasing-tail cycle. I wish the law of reciprocity to be with giftcards.com scammers & they experience what they visit upon others - to the max. Nasty scam product. Beware: Sheer FRUSTRATION is all they offer. And once theIr so-called customer service email network has your funds, their scam is complete. I have reported them to FTC at least to make others aware & may still try contacting WI consumer protection agency tomorrow to report them & prevent others from a similar experience or a fraudulent purchase & wasting their hard-earned money. It's a shame they are allowed to peddle these. Was a happy birthday to me gift, NOT!
