Scam! Luckily I checked Trustpilot first. Went back to buyer - who seemed legitimate- and told him I thought it was a scam and we should ‘call it a day’. He just gave me a thumbs up!

Vehicle report scam FB Marketplace
Was approached on facebook marketplace for a car listing I put up. Was approached by a locked fb profile with polite reasonable chat. Asked a few questions about V5C and MOT to appear legit but seemed a bit fishy when they kept tagging my fb username after every message they sent. They also said it was essential for me to pay for an “ER report” through a link to this website before they could view the car. “If the report comes out clean I’ll pay you back the cost of this report”. REDFLAG! Thought I’d check trustpilot and the other reviews proved my suspicions. Thankfully, I don’t click on random links sent by strangers so didn’t get scammed on this. Please avoid following through with a report from this site. If you require a legit report, please use a recognised UK vehicle check provider!
