Between lying about their fees and not…

Between lying about their fees and not receiving paperwork and then being told I am due no refund even with no papers I consider this company a thief and false advertising. Use ANYONE else. I told them I would file with BBB and state attorney general. My paperwork was wrong (how the hell you change a person's name in the middle of it I have no idea) and their rep took so long it was past my 30 days. If I had gotten the paperwork it still would have been wrong but I refused to pay more for their mistakes and laziness.

I would give a no star if I could pushed the wrong button and have been trying to get my refund back for 2 months and just keep getting the same run around. If they work for you the Same as they work for you to get a refund then I say I would even consider using them they suck....

This company is horrible

This company is horrible. The customer service is atrocious. The product/ service is subpar. They lie about your paperwork being instant. It took ten days. When I received the paperwork it had spelling errors. Names weren’t capitalized. Names misspelled. They want you to send it back taking more time. Then when you pass 30 days they charge you another fee.
Look elsewhere for online divorce papers. I asked for refund and got denied. I never received my corrected papers. I can’t submit the papers they sent originally with names misspelled.
Buyer beware. Many more companies out there. Do your research. They also enlist the help of phony review sites. They are obviously pay sites. No way this company has five stars. I also made a complaint to the BBB.

I started the process 15 days ago from…

I started the process 15 days ago from this writing. There were mistakes made were the name was incorrect. So since they had to fix their own mistake I added a couple minor changes. I sent it back and no word. Four days go by nothing. Not one communication No communication whatsoever in 15 days time of relevance. It has to be the worst customer service I have ever had.
They try to scam you by taking as long as possible so you get charged an extra fee in 30 days. They over charge for ever product that’s available. The fee of $139.00 is just the start. Of course you will need more items which are priced way above a normal price anywhere else. Some forms are even free online like quitclaim deed. Parenting classes are double the price found elsewhere.
Don’t use this service. Save the headache and heartache and go somewhere more reliable. They make the divorce process even worse.
Also still no paperwork.

Paid initial payment to them

Paid initial payment to them. Got nothing done not even an interview. Have called dozens of times not ever able to speak with a human. My credit card was billed again. Can’t get the payments stopped. This is a complete scam. Had to go through visa to stop them from billing me. I could never get a hold of anyone to ask them to stop billing me or get a refund

Do your homework :-/

I separated from my husband in late 2015. At the time we had been living in Pennsylvania. When we separated, he moved to New Jersey. We both agreed to a divorce, and in 2017 I started searching for the quickest easiest way to get it done (at the time you had to be separated for so many years before you could file). I found getdivorcepapers.com, and decided to give it a try. We do have 2 kids together, but They live with me and ex and I wrote up a custody arrangement that we both agreed to, so no further mediation was needed. We don't own any homes or anything together we just wanted the simple divorce. At first, the service worked as it said, I put all of our information in and got the forms. But time got away from me, and I wasn't able to file. Fast forward to now. I've relocated with the children to California. I've been told that I can't file for divorce in CA until I've been a resident for 6 months. I've just reached that status last week. So this weekend, I found my way back to getdivorcepapers.com. They said because it's a new state, I would have to pay the $147 again, so I did. I updated my interview information to the new state. But when I got to the forms, they still reflected the old information. I was told it was because my account had expired, so I paid $36 to get my account back up to active. Surprise, forms still not updated. I was given the name and email of my caseworker and told I would have to go through her. So my question is this: I was told in order to get my updated forms, I had to pay a total of $185. So I paid it, and I still don't have my updated forms. What exactly did I pay for? If this isnt sorted by EOB tomorrow, I'm requesting a refund and reporting this place to the BBB.

Calling this poor service would be an understatement. It's broken.

Very poor service. My dad purchased this to get his divorce done, and then immediately had a widow maker heart attack that he was lucky to survive, but then while in hospital he was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Since then, I've taken over his affairs as PoA, and am getting everything in order. While trying to get his forms filled out properly (the first time his paperwork was rejected by the court), I found that it wouldn't update to save and download. I contacted my case worker, I called, I did chat...Nobody could get it worked out and get me my proper paperwork. The website legitimately does not work properly. It is a broken service. A tried and true scam.

That's when I started asking for a refund. Because it was after 60 days, they said no refund. I have piles of paper of proof that he was in the hospital near death, and his soon to be ex-wife has the rejection letter but wont answer my calls.

I find it to be a little ridiculous that they couldn't give me the product as they promise it, but then skirt any responsibility and tell you essentially to get lost when it comes time to cash in on the 100% Money Back Guarantee.

I just ponied up and got a payment plan going with a lawyer now to handle it for my dad, so he doesn't have to die married to a woman who was awful to him during his life.

Shame some companies and people have no compassion for fellow humans. This would be one of those companies.

Steer clear. Not kidding. It. Is. A. Scam.

Very Disappointed

I did the eligibility questionnaire and was not informed by GetDivorcePapers.com that I was not eligible for their annulment papers due to the state I reside and in wanted to file the paperwork in (Indiana). So, since I wasn't informed that papers would not do me any good I paid for them and the expedited delivery fee. Then, once I received the papers I checked with the court house to inquire about who to submit the papers to. I was told by the court house employee they do not accept these types of forms. She went on to tell me Indiana court houses do not accept them. After that phone call I did research and found out she was telling me a true fact. Next, I contacted GetDivorcePapers.com to explain the problem to them and I asked for a refund. Of course, I was told they don't do refunds and the representative offered to sell me divorce paperwork instead! I told her the annulment paperwork is what I wanted and what I paid for. She referred my case to a finance dept. Well, I've sent numerous emails to the representative I talked to and the finance department but nobody replies. I saved all my emails for proof of the attempts I made! I'm frustrated and feel like this company is fraudulent!

Don’t go through them...

I wanted to leave 0 stars but unfortunately I had to give one so I could write a review... Don’t go through them... I did the paperwork they sent me and the judge didn’t approve them... it was only a few weeks after they sent me the papers and I requested a refund several times and I even had the proof that it didn’t go through... I got one response saying they could send me new papers when all I want is the damn refund and I didn’t get another response after I said I just wanted the refund and they just aren’t cooperating and this is beyond ridiculous. I’m pretty sure this is a scam...

It is already a painful process so I would rather pay, but...

It is already a painful process so I would rather pay to have someone else complete the form for me. I paused for a bit when I saw the total price of $180 rather than $140 as advertised. Then i thought to myself "oh well!". After filling out the form, GetDivorcePaper, GDP, gave me an option to pay for expedited service, which cost me $89. I received the form the night before my appointment with my ex-wife. GDP filled out the form incorrectly, so she yelled at me the left. I told GDP that i demanded my express fee refunded and was told by Erica that i would have to wait till Monday. I fixed the form where I could then took it to the court, where the clerk told me we were not eligible for the summary dissolution because our debts were too high. So we had to go through the regular process. So i attended the self-help sessions provided by the court for FREE. Then i understood why the clerk rejected my paperwork, completed by GDP. It was because GDP put my student loan under community debt. I called them asking for my money back and was transferred a few times, then the guy hung up on me after keep saying "we cannot issue refund!".

Simple to use

Simple to use, I finished all my questions in a couple hours. If I would have had all the information readily available it would have been even faster.

Don’t waste your money. . . .

Paid the premium price to get an uncontested divorce paperwork completed. Had to revise online and never received correct forms. Ended up filling out the forms myself. The customer support was virtually non existent and apparently when I did get ahold of someone, it didn’t matter, the paperwork sent to me was WRONG. Don’t waste your money with this site.

Would highly recommend your website after seeing my completed documents set out to me and how if goes with filing with the Jersey City Court House.

Hard to reach anyone, didn't ship my documents (after almost a month)

The site was easy to use, and that was pretty much the only positive thing about this experience.

I tried to call them (during office hours) but they were closed. I emailed them and they were then able to write back and say that they would ship my documents.

Almost a month later, still no paper work. I emailed and they didn't email back. I chatted with them on the site and they let me know that the documents were never shipped.

I told them I was very disappointed and that this was terrible service and that they were very hard to reach. And they didn't seem to care.

Stay away.

I have been going back and forth with …

I have been going back and forth with my bank disputing these charges. I sent in several disputes to Getdivorcepapers with no answer or follow up. I never got any paperwork as they never completed them, I still have not got an answer on my refund. Now all I get is I cant request one because it has been over 60 days even though I requested it within the time frame with no response. Now I am out 144 dollars and still had to pay and find another option for my documents as this company never fulfilled the services they "guarantee". I will be submitting a fraud request to the better business bureau as well. I never got the service that they took the money for. Then the company sseen my review on here asked for more information which i again provided and again no response or results.

The website is a scam run from India

The website is a total scam run from India. Avoid them at all costs and go to a reputable site in the US.

They charge a low fee of $144. Great.

I filled out the forms online. Great.

Then they say, oh you need a legal review of your documents. You can pay $89 to expedite this process. I declined.

Then they say they'll contact me as soon as the documents are ready. They wait a month and then say docs are ready.

I log in and they say, oh your membership has expired. Pay another $25 and you can download the forms you already paid $144 for and never received.

I called in and asked for my documents. Clearly, the site was being run from India over Skype. They still refused to send me my documents.

So, I contacted my credit card company and charged back the transaction.

I'm glad I didn't get my documents. God knows how many errors would have been in them. Total waste of time and money.

Rip off Company

Rip off Company. After paying in full and completing the interview process I was informed my papers would be ready to mail out to me in 3-10 business days.
On day 8 I contacted customer support hoping for an update as my spouse was impatient. Customer support did not respond.
On the 12th working day my spouse filed. I immediately contact GetDivorcePapers to inform them and request a refund as I got no email reply and still no papers and was told I was not entitled to a refund. Papers were ready the on day 13. Which were never mailed because whats the point? I was later sent an email saying the same, with a link to the refund policy which states that if it's discovered spouse filed first they would refund. I sent them emailed proof of the papers I was served and now cannot any response to my inquires to resolve this. Merry Christmas!
