Still waiting for my product after a month
Still waiting for my product after a month.
The courier (UPS) didn't provide any time slot during the day and made no attempt to ring the number provided. They said they'd come back on a certain day but came back 2 days later, apparently. Very frustrating.
Whilst this is perhaps more of a courier issue, Garmin is paying the courier - and they clearly don't care the level of shipping service provided.
They don’t send my refund
I made a refund for about a month ago. They said it could be 5-15 working days to get my money back. But didn’t. I sent another mail and said i didn’t get my refund. They said it will be investigating and this will take 5 working days. Are you kidding me? I am a garmin fanboy and use garmin products for over 10 years. Garmin netherlands are the worst experience i got so far. Still waiting for an mail if they can work sometime!
Garmin's bad and getting worse
Removing features from devices to try and sell more connect +. If you are thinking of buying a Garmin device DON'T. Chances are the feature you want it for will be behind a paywall before long and they are actively wrecking integration with other apps to get users to switch to their worse proprietry, expensive Connect +
My experience seems to echo a lot of…
My experience seems to echo a lot of what others are saying. I bought the Venu 2 and had it for a couple of years without any issues. Not long after it being out of warranty the watch wouldn't stay powered on unless plugged into charge. Seems to be a common issue with the watch. Approached customer services and was told my only options were to buy a repaired watch for over £150 or a 20% discount off a newer model. They can clearly repair them but don’t offer this to squeeze more money from customers. There’s an awful lot more better quality watches with actual customer support out there.
Another failed Garmin Fenix
So I'm on my second garmin fenix. First a 5x which the HRM failed. Latterly my Fenix 7x pro solar the same has failed after just over 2 years,so out of warranty.
Having contacted support it was proved the watches signal HRM was weak so recording incorrect data. They have supplied a wrist band for free for better fit aparantly, alas this has not fixed it as I thought. The other option was to get a refurbished replacent at cost of £297. Guaranteed for 90 days. Why would you? Having no confidence in the brand. Other option was a 20% discount off the new Fenix 8. Again, why would you risk it after 2 failed watches.
As a lot have said, the cost of this premium snart watch does not live up to ,the reliability one would expect. Very disappointed with the options offered to fix this.

I have had 2 Garmin Solar Instinct that have failed with battery/electrical issues. Looking online I am not alone. Garmin Support offers of a slightly reduced cost refurbished replacement with 90 days warranty I rejected as it felt like throwing good money after bad. Poor quality product and disappointing offers from Garmin.
forerunner 165
I bought forerunner 165 I can't use most of the future of my phone from the watch, quite useless as smart watch, I can't even pay because garmin pay doesn't support garmin pay.
Garmin was so hard to use an android or ios sistem?
It's only an expensive watch
Horrible battery management
Having mine Garmin Felix 7 watch for 2.5 years. I like its sport functions, however its battery management is horrible! Twice in one month, the watch shut down in the middle of running when it showed 6 days for battery; and showed 47% battery when it powered up. See lots of complaints about its battery management just wonder if they are going to do something about it.
===
UPDATE:
Happened again Jan 24 (3rd time this month)! I could start up the watch during run, showed 33% battery, however shut down again when resuming sport function! Just saw lots of complaints about the exact same problem in Garmin Forum, don't they not care?
Garmin watches are a triumph of useless…
Garmin watches are a triumph of useless engineering. Every button and dial invites me to interact, yet none of them appear connected to anything resembling a working mechanism. I might as well be fiddling with levers that aren’t attached to a single gear—except those would at least spare me the illusion that something might happen. Also, they're Customer Service should be renamed, Warranty Avoidance.
GREEDY Garmin
I’m extremely disappointed with Garmin. I bought the Fenix 6S Sapphire in the EU — a very expensive watch — and after moving to Canada I found out I can’t download Canadian maps without paying an additional fee of around $120. For a premium device, this is unacceptable.
Even after factory resets and using the latest Garmin Express, the watch still won’t allow access to North America maps unless I pay again. It feels like the device is region‑locked on purpose, and customers who relocate are punished for it.
For a company selling “global” outdoor watches, this level of GREED and lack of flexibility is shocking. Looking at other reviews, I’m clearly not the only one having a bad experience. (less than 2*)
I would definitely not recommend buying Garmin watches.
Garmin instinct E watch
This is certainly not the most rugged capable watch as a matter of fact it's a considerable let down. It's definitely not worth even the $100 off It's not even worth $100 I don't know why you wanna screw over people that's been Garmin purchaser for over 30 years i've had Garmin GPS and this right here is the biggest let down that I've ever ever owned

Ordered a watch as a Xmas present on Dec 3rd....took my money then I heard nothing...I got in touch three times over the course of several weeks...different story each time....they said it won't arrive till Jan due to stock issues....then two days before Xmas I receive an email cancelling my order...shocking service.
Lousy product, support & customer service
Bought an Approach R50 golf simulator/Launch Monitor in early December via my golf club pro shop. Wasted a day setting up and trying to get it working - it didn’t. Garmin Tech Support absolutely useless & had limited awareness of their own product. They initially suggested that this high tech product had no software, rapidly changed tac and suggested that I upgrade the already upgraded software. I gave up & took the unit back to the pro shop. They confirmed it was defective & that 1 or more of the 3 integrated cameras wasn’t working. Can’t believe it was damaged in transit as packaging was immense. Therefore suggests that Garmin are happy shipping a £4.3K unit without checking that it actually works. Low to zero quality control. From this very poor start, Garmin’s customer service then actually got worse. Having initially told my retailer that they would ship a replacement unit, they then demanded return of their defective dud, before they would ship a replacement. They’ve now had the original defective unit for 2 weeks & still haven’t issued a replacement despite repeated chasing by my retailer and assurances from Garmin that they were sending it.
In summary lousy product, negligible quality control, incompetent Tech Support & non-existent customer service - no matter the very high purchase price.
Garmin dezl 610 hgv sat nav it's not…
Garmin dezl 610 hgv sat nav it's not good .if your looking at delivering in city avoid this product. Or if your a new driver looking for a trusted sat nav avoid this product . It,s tried to take me down some bad places lucky I've been driving for a few years now and I do my checks on Google before I leave. Customer services UK are shocking no help at all . The other day it routed me down a single track road when the entrance to the yard I was delivering to was on an A road .
No trust in this product at all .
Terrible service
I bought a Garmin Forerunner 265s over a month ago, the GPS stopped working. After reaching out to the service center, they told me that the processing time is 15 working days, even though they already found the problem and know I need a new one. I payed good money and this does not help out in my strict training schedule. They deliver a product that doesn't work and put the burden on me.
Won't ever buy their products again.
Cancelled my order and said I was fraudulent!! I used a banner link from the Discount for Carers website (I AM a carer too!) Really poor, I won't ever buy anything from them again. Wish I'd seen this review score first too, horrendous.
AWFUL! Their software update broke my device…
Their software update broke my device to which I was told that I am welcome to buy a new one as this one was out of date!!! Racketeering and unethical firm that clearly implements solution to disable existing products so people spent more. As if I would buy from them again!! AVOID~!!!
Great Watch & HRM, bad Indoortrainer and awfull tacx App
Right now ive got several garmin products.
First my garmin edge explore. Its a bike computer, costs around 130€ and works most of the time well. Only sometimes the route planing doesnt work that well. But all in all its totally fine.
My Watch, a instict 2 is incredible. Costs 150€ and works great. No problems at all. Many reviews here criticize the interface or menu and handling. For me thats completly perfect. If you want a smartwatch for the couch then buy ap*le or smth.
But the garmin watch does everything i want and need.
The HRM Pro plus is also great. I train about 15h a week, and i need to replace the battery every 6months. It connects flawless with my phone (5yrs old), bike computer and watch.
The most pricy and also the most dissapointing product is the garmin tacx flux 2. The power always fluctuates in a 20-40W range around the given power. Even if those fluctuations came from the single pedal strokes, it would help to integrate smth like a 3s power in the tacx app like wahoo it does. The trainer makes a loud screaming noise after the first 100km of use. Probably some spray on the band will help.
The Tacx app is complete rubbish, it always tells me to callibrate the trainer, and when im done callibrating (in the app), it tells me again to callibrate. Nothing helps with that issue. Also you can only press + and - for the watts you want to push. It goes 5w down or up per press. But for intervalls (like 10-30s) its a real problem to press 100times + to arrive at 800W, and its even more problematic when youre intervall is finished and you have to press 100 + to get down to 200W again. There are great solucions to that in the wahoo app, but wahoo activities arent recognised by the garmin connect app.
Please fix your tacx app, its awful.
