Good communication regarding time and delivery of my order

I had a wonderful experience with Garden Plants Online. The team were professional, efficient and clearly very knowledgeable. Everything was handled with great care and the quality of the tree and plantar exceeded my expectations.

What stood out most was their attention to detail and friendly helpful approach. The whole process was smooth and stress free from start to finish.

I would highly recommend Garden Plants Online to anyone looking for high quality trees, plants and planters. Such a reliable service.

October 2025 I ordered a large orange tree. They withdrew the payment immediately. Now after 175 days it has still not been delivered, despite countless reminders. They do not respond to inquiries, but send standard emails. Now is it difficult to get the money back? Completely a bad experience - 0 stars avoid

Answer: still no refund. New “excuses” from the company, avoid.
I can see I am not the only one that gave 1 star, due to delivery time and delivery problems. Hope to see refund on my creditcard soon, or I have to go to legal action. Order by this company is a waist of time.
Update 3 weeks, still no refund, presume they have also money problems? -AVOID

Sold us two large specimen trees which we spent a lot of money on. One was half the size advertised. The other was infested with a species of highly invasive Mediterranean ant and as a result was full of aphids and nearly died. It resulted in our conservatory and garden being infested with the ants. It took a lot of chemicals and expense to get rid of them. They replaced the small tree with an even smaller tree and refused to replace or remove the infested tree. We ended up having to claim through our credit card provider. Awful service. They don't have the trees they advertise. Once you order them they import them from abroad which means even they don't know what they're going to get.

I ordered a beautiful cactus in December. After 2 months it finally arrived…dying. I left it a week to try and bring it back, following all care instructions. However after 10 days all the arms had fallen off and the top went all brown and mushy. According to Garden Plants Online I took too long to inform them of the dying plant. They will reorder at an extra £50 to me. I have already paid £200 for a dead cactus, but because I didn’t alert them within 48hrs I do not meet requirements for a refund either. I thought it was maybe stressed from shipping etc. It took me several emails to eventually get hold of someone and the level of unhelpfulness and aftercare is disappointing. What a shame. Hoping I can get a refund or a new plant but it’s looking unlikely.

Ordered two sets of potted conifers. Both sets were in great shape, in large pots with mulch and batons to stabilise. First set took a while for delivery and second set was delivered promptly.

Great plant, arrived in tip top condition. Well packaged and company sent a very useful care guide.

The plants I bought were nice and reflected what was on the website. Great customer service.

Delivery fine, however the plant was way larger than I anticipated which was 1.5 to 2.0 meters, I obviously should have gone for the smaller one.

I was so glad to find that I could buy a particular terracotta window box supplied by this company. They were a pleasure to deal with — especially as when I discovered that the day the window box was to be delivered I was going to be out, they arranged for it to be delivered à day earlier. They are à small company who really care about their customers.

The plants received are healthy, strong and beautiful,nicely wrapped up in net. The customer service was excellent in communication, keeping me informed of all stages of the delivery. However, the delivery driver left the plants exposed in front of the door in the porch and head off. They could have been stolen if we didn't hear the door knock.That was disappointing given we paid £15 for delivery costs. I can see from some reviews that this was experience of others so there is room for improvement with the delivery.
I would recommend the company and I would order from them again.

I bought an olive tree. Communication from the company was excellent, delivery on time, lovely tree.

I ordered 5 Red Robin family hedging plants to replace / fill gaps in our existing hedge. I had previously used Garden Plants Online and been very satisfied so I used them again. It was easy to identify the species of Red Robin I wanted (two different types for different parts of my hedge), and could also order the appropriate height to fill my gaps.
The ordering process is easy and I was kept updated with the expected delivery date etc.
The delivery driver himself was extremely helpful in putting the plant pots where I wanted them.
All in all very good service and good plants too.

Very good customer service and product

Nana Globossa Plant i ordered was obtained and despatched within the time frame specified, it arrived on the given delivery day within the time frame given and the driver dropped it where I asked. It's a lovely healthy plant in excellent condition and now happily living in a large barrel on my patio!

Ordered a palm tree early December as a Christmas present. It didn't arrive. When I rang after Christmas to ask when it would be delivered I was assured it would arrive the next week. It actually arrived in March while we were on holiday. The palm tree looked very healthy and was a great size but there are different species of palm tree and this had 3 different labels attached. We rang immediately to ask which type it was and the lady was quite rude saying we'd had it a week. She said she'd get back to us and didn't. We rang again and were told grudgingly to send photos of the tree and their experts would identify it. That was nearly 3 weeks ago and have not had a reply. Have just emailed again with fingers crossed. I don't like giving bad reviews but it has been 3 months, £100 spent and I still don't know if the tree is what I ordered. I know different palm trees look very similar when small but it is not acceptable to attach 3 different labels to a tree when a specific tree has been ordered. They are supposed to be the experts. Will not be ordering from them again.

Although it arrived a day late, I had a very sincere apology from the company.
I particularly appreciated that there was a download with planting instructions for the tree.

One slight niggle is that the courier didn't ring the bell, but just left it on the front porch, so I didn't know it was there.
