Gardening Express Reviews 

First time using this company. They keep you updated, re dispatch and estimated delivery.. Company stated that due to the excessive heat we were experiencing, they delay some deliveries!!.
My plants were securely packed, on receipt.. Unfortunately they traveled during the 30 degree plus heatwave .. On receipt they were showing signs of severe heat stress.. It is now 9days later, & they are just showing signs of improvement.. I am hoping they will recover,& next year will be bigger and healthier plants..🤞🤞

Plants arrived on time and considering how hot it was they were in good condition. We have ordered from here before with no issues and would deffinitely recommend to others. Great communication.

Everything arrived on time, as expected. I was kept up to date the whole time.

Quite disappointed, wish I read the reviews before ordering.
Plants arrived tightly packed into cardboard boxes, all squashed and some on top of each other, leading to broken plants. Also in the boxes on the plants were two slugs and 1 snail!!

I ordered 12 of the same plant and they arrived looking dead, nothing like the photos provided, all cut right down - out of the 12, 1 has survived. So disappointing.
Other plants I ordered arrived and were just scraggly stems, so weak they are just floppy. The salvia’s just lay limp on the soil.

Complete waste of money. Delivery extremely long, plants look like they are from the reduced section.

Poor service.plants took over 2 weeks to get to me and arrived half dead.looked as if they gas been in stock gor years.

Once you have made your first order, received the plants, and got them growing, you can say whatever fits the bill. There are many Suppliers to choose from, so you
can search for the best deal for the same item. or see how much they charge for delivery, or how long their deliveries take. etc, etc, etc. I use many companies to get what I want. G.E. is a Newby for me, so watch this space.

Placed order mid July, express delivery.
Received email 30th July to say there was a delay. Requested full refund.
Today is 26th August. Still no reply, refund or plants.
Now too late to plant.
Will buy local from now on, where you actually get what you pay for

The said plant arrived in robust packaging and very well packed ,and upon opening my t rex was in perfect condition i would truly recommend your company to everybody it's just a sham I never found you sooner many thanks DBailey

Gorgeous little Dianthus plants but sadly they were all out of their pots on delivery. The parcel should have had a This Way Up sign!!!!
Consequently some of the blooms were broken but I've managed to salvage them and I'm hopeful they will recover after a good water and being the right way up.

Plants in excellent condition .

BE VERY WARY OF THIS SITE. CHEAP FOR A REASON. Purchased some fruit trees from this site. They arrived as dry twigs that might as well be dead. Turned out that one of them was! Initially I gave it a few weeks for them to grow before complaining and two did start showing leaves, but the other remained dry and bare. I got in touch thinking it would be easily resolved, but they refused to help and said I had to complain within two weeks to get a refund. Impossible to know in such a short time frame if they’re sending dead-looking twigs out! I tried pushing back but they stonewalled me and I couldn’t be bothered to raise a complaint with my credit card company over something under £10. THINK TWICE BEFORE BEING SUCKED IN BY THEIR ‘DEALS’.

The plants I ordered arrived in excellent condition, and I am extremely pleased with them. However I was very disappointed with the delivery company DHL who only updated me about the order on the day of delivery (whilst we were away for 2 days). I immediately had the delivery day changed, DHL confirmed the new delivery date and then later that morning I received an email with photo showing it had been delivered to a ‘safe place’. It was left on the doorstep!! Sadly I will NOT be buying from Gardening Express again purely due to DHL’s delivery service.

I’m happy with the plant and the price but disappointed there are no instructions of care with it
