A once great website has effectively become unusable in the UK due to someone on their website team deciding that the age verification for UK users should be applied to ALL of the games on their website.
I can't even buy Disney Cars without sending them my ID. What a joke!
No other gaming platform is doing this. It should only be affecting 'adult-only' games, like how Steam are only asking for verification on Adult-only porn games.
Blocking the purchase of ALL games is unacceptable and not even in-line with OSA.

You can no longer even view M rated games in the store without verifying your age in the UK (Not the please enter your birthdate system that every other site has, but please contact customer support so you can give us proof). I'm not giving Gamersgate a copy of my license and/or passport for the privilege of buying 'Dying Light' hardly a game that warrants this level of precaution. On top of that, the game that I was able to purchase was subject to manual review which took a couple hours. I always prefer to purchase from legitimate stores rather than key resellers even when it costs more, which in this case it did, but why bother when key sites are cheaper and instant, and GamersGate requires age verification and won't actually deliver your purchase until it's manually reviewed. I'd never purchased from GamersGate before, I definitely won't again.

Have been purchasing games from Gamersgate for my steam account since May 2013 and have never had any issues. Competitive pricing for my region (SEA) is also a big plus.

There is often good discount on games and we often receive a coupon after a buy for a reduction on the price of our next purchase. If our payment take too long to process we also receive a coupon for our next purchase but now all my purchases are process rapidly.

A major disappointment: orders are subject to review, which can lead to a delay of up to 24 hours before they're fulfilled. Not ideal for gamers who need their purchases quickly. Buyer beware - consider this caveat before making a purchase.

I've been buying games from GamersGate since around 2014. Their website is well designed and easy to use with real pagination. No "click to see more" scrolling garbage. They have competitive sales on new releases and often have historical lows on older titles. They also frequently give 5 & 10% coupons for your next purchase. Highly recommended.

Been aware of this site since years ago and It's nice to see that It still a viable website for good deals and reasonable prices. I usually check for price drops on some of the stuff I want to!

I got flagged for a manual review. I was trying to buy a game to play tonight, but now I can't play it. They charged me, but I currently have no access to the game I paid for. I wish I had bought the game from another seller.

Instant delivery, just bought a game where is 45€ or more in any other website. Purchased it for only 26, had also a disscount code and it delivered in literally the blink of an eye, 100% reccomended.

Great prices & true retail steam key

Me and my sister have bought quite a few games here, they have excellent prices and a really good selection of games .
And their customer service was very kind and helpful when my sister accidentally bought me a game I already had , they didn't have to help us but they did and I really appreciate that.
We were already fans of this store but even more so now, I've been telling my gamer friends about it and everyone has thanked me for it

Bullshit login process keeps me on an infinite Verification loop right after I buy game there.

I haven't received my key and its been well over 3 hours. This is disappointing. Could have paid the same amount of money for the same game on a different site and gotten the key instantly. Customer service is a joke sent many requests and they have refused to respond. This manual review is a joke and is completely outdated. There are various methods for verification and this is not one of them. You shouldn't be taken people's money and then not give them the key right away that is considered fraud and is a crime. They don't listen to you when you reach out. People buy games off key sites to play games with their friends. Now i can't play games with friends because i am waiting on a stupid key. I will never order from this site ever again. Take your business elsewhere. I don't want any coupon codes unless its 35% off. Makes me very irritated and i will steer my friends away from this site. Go to greenman or cd keys if you want something done right.

The login system based on the image recognition is stupid and annoying. It puts me off going into the store.

Great price on games I needed. Codes came right away. They all worked. No issue.

Shopping at GamersGate is easy. Their customer support is pleasant and accommodating, too.

Could not purchase games because my province in Canada has two taxes and GamersGate cannot figure it out.
My partner had to purchase in a different province, using my credit card.
Now I remember why I never bought anything since 2021.
Customer service was nice, but unhelpful to the issue and suggested that it is something GamersGate needs to work on. After finding correspondence from 2021, that doesn't seem to be a priority.
If Steam, Fanatical, Eneba, Big Fish Games, etc. can figure it out, why can't you?
