Galata Pera
Galata Pera is Turkish cuisine.
I was looking for something a hearty filling meal to eat, not anything that was fast food based fatty and greasy but something somewhat balanced.
I wasn't disappointed at all. I ordered the mix grill with rice, it consisted of chicken wings, ribs (non pork) beef skewers, chicken skewers and lamb skewers. Each of the meats had their own individual flavours and tastes, all filled with tender juices. The rice was just as flavorful and moist from the meats resting upon it.
This meal came with a spicy dipping sauce yet it has a sweet ish taste to it. I had ordered garlic sauce to go along side also as well as fresh bread, olives and salad.
The bread was fluffy and light with a smoky taste to it. The olives were in a light spicy olive juice with a cube of feta cheese on top and a sprinkling of chill flakes. The salad was a combination of bell peppers tomatoes cucumbers red cabbage onions and pomegranates.
Each part of the meal tasted devine. I'd expect nothing less from the Turkish as their food is always full with flavour.
They secure the food well in packageing if ordering for home delivery for you to enjoy hot.
