Having been unable to keep to our original plans for my daughter’s hen weekend, after googling (in a panic) what we could do I came across Funktion Events. I spoke to a lovely young lady called Emily... See more

Had a great time at our Mamma Mia dance workshop on 16th May with Taylor - it was such good fun and Taylor was brilliant teaching us all the moves, we are planning on performing it at the wedding now!

Our abba themed dance workshop was just what we wanted - completely fun, an easy to learn dance routine and a very patient and enthusiastic teacher. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience! The dance teacher was lovely, and patient. Everyone got involved and it was abreast day with lots of laughter and I would 100% recommend.

I used Funktion Events for a life drawing class for a Hen Do. The class was funny, exciting and well planned. We all had an amazing time and the tutor/model was lovely, respectful and made the session worthwhile. I highly recommend this company for booking events and i will be using them in the future, their customer service is great and they will answer any questions you have. Thank you for the amazing day!

Had a lovely afternoon. Even the non dancers got up to dance. We nailed it. Robbie Williams, eat your heart out!

Life drawing - Glasgow Mercure hotel on Saturday 2nd May.
This was the most disappointing part of my hen weekend, the hotel was less than appealing and we were all put in a holding area before going into a conference room.
Our model Ben was not at all what we expected, he looked to have had a very rough night on the Friday. Unkempt and appeared to be just making a few extra quid of a Saturday morning.
The bridal games and fizz advertised did not happen, the life drawing was beyond awkward in a lifeless conference room with no music or refreshments.
We did call down to reception with a drink order which never arrived.
All in all a really disappointing experience. Emails have been sent to complain and ask for a refund and no reply has been received.
Fantastic event, even though wasn’t dancing felt very included and had great fun with everyone.

I booked this for my future daughter in-law’s hen do. Very easy to book, value for money. Something different to do. Everyone had a brilliant time, Dance instructor was lovely and the Hen was made to feel special. Would definitely book a dance class again.

The company were great with communication and helping me when needed HOWEVER on the day of the hen do we were all sat waiting when I got a call to say they had to CANCELLED on the spot
so I was instantly met with a huge gap with 14 hens - the first activity and main of the day after rushing everyone early to make it on time most missing breakfast
It definitely put a dent in everyone’s vibes
I was told a emergency had happened that couldn’t be helped and these things do happen in life , but this was my experience and it very much upset the day we’ve waited for , for a very long time
It also advertised to be central and when I checked the original location it’s was 20 min taxi outside the center so not central
The place we arrived to loooked like faulty towers and was essentially something that looked like an old skittle alley
So all in all not the best of experiences
But as I said when booking they were helpful .
A straight forward booking process and Izzie was very helpful throughout.

We do not feel what was advertised was close to the final product of the event itself on the day, the website was fairly lacking in details as a whole and we felt certain aspects of the event were misleading.
90-minute tour with Private Guide - at almost no point were we escorted or joined by a member of the team for a Tour, very much left to our own devices for the majority.
I'm a celeb style blindfold food tasting - Albeit Vague, we were simple presented with a table of Tongue, Brains and penis in a dark dingy restaurant, a few of our party did not want to eat anything (understandably), which was followed up by a extremely lacking plate of “tapas” that consisted of stale bread, a few peppers, some dried meat and a few slices of cheese. All with a quickly thrown together mojito we had to make by hand just before, in a rushed manner that wasn’t fun or interactive, it just felt rushed and chaotic. All the while the staff were telling us to hurry up and go.
Sangria pong (like beer pong, but with sangria!) a little chaotic but fairly ok. Though chugging sangria out of plastic cups is not how we’d chose to enjoy it)
Wine tasting - non existent
Quiz and riddle questions - a few basic questions about Spain to decide the teams at the beginning, the riddles were ok throughout.
Multiple dish tapas meal - the most disappointing omission, despite having little information about this activity I had assured our group that we would mostly likely have a meal out of this that would hopefully see us through the rest of our afternoon (and subsequent flight home). However no tapas meal was offered, and we refused to believe that the bit of bread and meat following the penis, brain and tongue tasting could hardly constitute a “Multiple dish tapas meal”… once the activity ended we were told we couldn’t stay at the Kulas bar and we then had to rush into the city and go buy food before our flight home.
Along this we were constantly offered shots of cheap rum that we consistently tried to refuse as we kept saying “we have to catch a flight, we don’t want to drink, we have to go back to work tomorrow”, no other alternative was offered at any point, at least a few of our group were able to have some, but for the most part it felt very forced upon those who actively refused multiple times.
While we tried to make the most of it, we came away from the whole activity feeling quite missold what we thought would be something very different to the reality and frankly a little overpriced for what we received.
I appreciate you target your activities to Stag and Hen do’s, but had we known what the activity would really entail, we would have chosen something different. And can’t in good conscience recommend any further activities to our friends whom of which are all due to get married and organise stag & hen do’s in the near future.
Was the best cocktail making class with Phil for my Hen party. He was great a showing us how to make the cocktails and played some fun games. Would highly recommend if you enjoy cocktails.
Function events were great communicated with me loads and very simple to use there event page

We had a great time doing the lip sync battle and life drawing. Both hosts were brilliant! The bride to be had the best time.

Great! We attended a hen party at the end of April and organised a massage and buff butler through the website. The maid of honour organised everything and everything went to plan! Both services were entertaining. Thanks again.
