Legandary low friction mousepad the first month
As a gamer well up in his 30'rties i fondly remember the days with the first funC 1030, it was a area with real FPS games where no one was lamed down by weapon kickback and useless spread. All that mattered were your precision and reactions.
This added an extra importance on hardware, including mousepad.
So to say i was like a little kid before x-mas when i heard of the reboot of the Func1030 series that gave me so many victories in my youth.
When i finally got the product it performed exactly as i remembered, i was thrilled. sadly the wear on it came way faster than i remembered from the original.
Sadly already after 1-1,5 month the fine grain side was worn down to an extent where my table surface was waay better as mousepad. And about 2 months after that the rough grain side was no better.
This was a HUGE dissapointment for me, since the 1030 i had way back in the days lasted for years.
What caused this is hard to say, my hand has become abit more heavy, another mouse, other composition of materials?
I feel with a short lifespan like this the product should be shipped in bulk of 10 for the current price of the product.
While the product was new, it is the best you can get in the category! But i find it unrealistic to buy new mouse pads every 2months for a proper gaming experience.
So if you want the best no matter price and dont mind replacing your mousepad several times a year, funC 1030 delivers by far the best experience you can get.
For "poor" gamers like me, i say you will be more happy with a more reliable mousepad.
