Hotel was overbooked. Not informed.
Arriving at the destinazion, myself and my family was welcomed with the news that our hotel was overbooked. The staff was very unfriendly as well. Wouldn't ever recommend fti again!

Please avoid this travel agency for your own sake, they charged me 33% of the total travel price for cancelling a travel 30 minutes after having booked for which I hadn't even yet paid, with the pretext that they had already reserved everything. They sent me those letters of payment request of the cancellation fees 3 times and in the third one they threated me with going on court against me.

We experienced a very bad vacation. When our complaints weren't noticed at the hotel we messaged our travel agent, who contacted FTI. We have in writing that the local support would get in touch with us. Which never did.
My complaint was sent in November. FTI takes ages to respond. The agent don't real the full message and don't really care about customer complaint.

Do not deal with agency guides at the destination
Me and my boyfriend had a great experience at a resort, but unfortunately, FTI had nothing to do with it. In fact, our vacation mood has been spoiled a few times by this agency. We bought our trips on VakantieDiscounter via FTI. When we arrived to Sharm El Sheikh, it was super unclear what to do or where to go. Somehow, we managed to find the right transfer ourselves. The guy in the bus spoke only German, didn't share any information and gave an envelope with some papers in German as well. We landed at the airport around 3 am and arrived to the hotel around 5 am super tired, so we directly went to bed. We were not aware of that, but apparently we were supposed to have a meeting with our agency guide around noon. The guide, Usama, called us in the evening the same day and invited for a brief, where he tried to pitch us their extra trips and excursions for ridiculously high prices. He blamed us for not joining the meeting earlier and said that he waited for us since 11 am untill 15:00 pm, like he couldn't use the hotel phone just like he did in the evening if he really waited for us. He got super FRUSTRATED and started acting unprofessionally when he heard that we already purchased some excursions from another guy from the hotel. He started scaring us with horrible stories, and misleading information, which was in fact a nonsense war with the local competitors. Later we found out that he found the guy we bought excursions from and blamed him for stealing his customers. Usama tried to convince him that we want our money back, because we want to buy everything from him. Dear FTI, it's none of your business how I spend my money. Do not deal with FTI guides at the destination! On the top of that, our trip was supposed to be 11 days, 10 nights (from 3rd to 13th), but we arrived on the 4th early morning and had to check out on the 13th at 12 am. To not get kicked out of the room we had to pay 60 EUR extra.

We are booking with FTI for 10 years and are very satisfied with the service . Some holidays were cancelled due to covid but we always got either a voucher or our money back . Top quality for the best price !

Le personnel sur Dubai étaient arrogant et insupportable.
Trip to Dubai last week the representatives and services of FTI are the worst and poorest services and behavior ever encountered in 40 years of travel, avoid at all costs this company which is already noted everywhere in a catastrophic way. The staff in Dubai were arrogant and unbearable.

No service what so ever!
Bad agency. Booked a rental car through FTI. Upon pick up Avis messed up the bill for an category upgrade. FTI is not moving a finger to resolve the situation. FTI won’t provide any service other than charging your credit card!

I did a recent booking with FTI group which included flight, transit and hotel. Flight and Hotel was fine. But the Airport-Hotel transit which was included in the package was really bad. The day we arrived to the destination airport (Antalya) we were made to wait in the bus for almost an hour inside the bus at midnight giving us a stupid reason that they are waiting for a family who were supposed to arrive in the same flight that we were in. After some of us argued for almost 10 mins then they agreed to start the bus and leave us to our hotels.
To make it even worse, on our return the pick up bus did not arrive and we had to take a taxi to the airport which means extra costs which were supposed to be covered in the package.

I booked a trip to Turkey for my parents with FTI. I paid the 20% in advance but unfortunately my parents fell seriously ill from the Covid. Added to this, the borders between Morocco and the rest of the world were closed and a trip abroad is only possible with a compelling reason. more than 30 days before the date of travel and payment of the remaining 80%, I have formally notified FTI that my parents cannot travel on these dates. I requested a voucher for this 20% but FTI refused and sued me for paying the full amount to be paid. Don't book with FTI, they use crooks methods, it's a mafia, they don't answer emails or phone! FTI = scam!

If you are planing a trip
If you are planing a trip, it will take you less time, money and stress to book one alone, without FTI. First when you want to get info about your trip, you have to wait more then 30 minutes for them to pick up the call, emails they don't answer. And what you become through emails, tickets and hotel info as such, is very bad structured, plane tickets don't have gate, terminal, they book the cheapest flights, accounting to 5-8 more hours then normal routes.

I‘ve been booking trips before and never had such a bad/ frustrating experience with support! Booked a trip with FTI over Check24. Had to pay 2k for a trip because that costed 2,2k and was not allowed to travel. Legally waterproof but morally..
Why? I selected PayPal as a payment method when I booked the trip. I thought PayPal would automatically transfer the money to FTI. No, you have to click on a special link (the support already knew the issue, therefore I guess not the first time). They send me one mail after I booked the trip „booking confirmation and receipt“ which I quickly skimmed through and seemed to be fine. Meanwhile, I was receiving mails about the trip how happy I can be with this vacation and last steps before travel, Corona restrictions... but then I realized that the amount was still not deducted from my account (five days before my flight). I called the FTI support and asked how I could transfer the money. The guy at the hotline was not speaking German fluently at all, but what he managed to do, was to let me wait on the line and at that exact time I got a cancellation notification and that I have to pay 2k. I was shocked.. but he said don‘t worry, call check24 they will rebook. Called Check24 immediately, after 5min of cancellation the trip was not available anymore. FTI told Check24 that the cancellation was legally correct and they do not have any notes about the call.. they also told me I should have received mails and an SMS telling me to pay but there was not a single one in my mailbox, also not in the Junk folder which I am checking regularly. They did not accept that I send them the money immediately, book a similar trip or a more expensive one.. This is just a short summary of the not helpful support I had over two days. No one is friendly, wants to help you, min. 30min waiting times and they do not direct you to the right people. All in all I am really disappointed.
The prestige of German companies is losing stars.
We had booked a trip to Egypt with FTI since April to go in August. Opportunity that we had not been able to materialize earlier due to an unfavorable schedule. We were therefore very excited by this stay in general and in particular by this hotel for adults where we wanted to recharge our batteries before going to work. Unfortunately FTI changed our dates a week before departure without consulting us while we resumed work at the end of August. We thought that we would quickly be offered an alternative to leave before or even elsewhere despite my solutions but nothing at all. We therefore canceled and lost a week to have confirmation of cancellation despite the FTI change or cancellation option. We took a last minute hotel in Turkey which was the worst of all our trips with a return transfer which almost cost us an accident and missed our plane. We are very disappointed with FTI for letting us down and having a poor vacation.

Hands off this tour operator! Ten days before booking the flight, Mallorca changed the Corona regulations on 11.3.21, only people from one household (couples with different residences do not count here) may book a hotel room. About this no info on page or when booking, also no call etc.. One day before flight from me call to FTI, person asks me at the end of the phone call: Excuse me for asking, are you a household? On denial: Oh, tomorrow flight, we try to organize second hotel room, if it does not work out, we can only cancel, other hotel would be out of the question. Immediately checked if they now specify that when booking: Still not. That would have to be checked legally (resolution: hotel could offer second room, lucky, anticipation gone). On site then: quick tests all fully booked, travel management does not see itself responsible, other operators organize tests in the hotel, FTI/DER/JAHN not. Therefore: Hands off.

I booked a car for 2 weeks and cancelled in time for free cancellation. 6 weeks later I still did not receive the refund of about 500USD to my credit card. When I complained a week after cancellation they decided that I had cancelled just then.
