Just installed a new Frigidaire…

Just installed a new Frigidaire dishwasher in my home. Couldn’t get it to work based on the directions. I called the number to get basic assistance. First I wants to go to chat. Finally get a person. She knew nothing about how to work the product. She wanted to get a credit card to set a service call. Frigidaire would do better to help new clients by putting downloads on the internet to show clients how to use the product. Instead of taking clients like myself and totally turning them off your product. I’m going to take the dishwasher out of my cabinet. And go get a different brand.
The only reason why is horrible customer service.

I bought a frigidaire stove recently…

I bought a frigidaire stove recently and noticed that the oven racks kept slipping down. While still under warranty I called the company and asked that they send me new racks. They would not. I would need to pay for them ($57ca , that was with a slight discount) as they were considered an accessory. I'd say this is a ridiculous argument and at the very least very poor customer service. I don't recommend buying frigidaire after this experience.

Poor Durability / Even Poorer Customer Service

Our appliance was delivered on 3.26.26. First, some packaging material (seems like hardened glue with a hard styrofoam?) was left stuck to the inside of the refrigerator door upon delivery. I didn't notice it and recently contacted customer service on how to remove it. It was suggested that I purchase stainless cleaner directly from Frigidaire "for only $17.99!" Yeah... that's not coming off with stainless steel cleaner. I was basically told "too bad," you should have noticed it upon delivery. Next, the finish on the water dispenser button is already completely scratched - after only 3 months of use! Again, customer service said it's a cosmetic issue and perhaps I should purchase some touch-up paint for $30.99. Seriously?? Seems like Frigidaire's customer service objective is strictly to get customers to make additional purchases instead of standing behind their products. Extremely disappointed. I expected more from Frigidaire.

Had my first fridge 20 years no issues

Had my first fridge 20 years no issues. Bought a frigidaire and 1 year in freezer fan stopped working, 2 years in light socket went. I would never purchase this brand again. My own fault for thinking that because my other fridge lasted 20 years without any repairs that I wouldn't need extended warranty. Lesson learned.

Treating clients like JOKES

I ordered a microwave with installation from Frigidaire, and instead of them some third company was delivering it, causing me a lot of problems, rescheduling last moment and etc etc.
When I called to Frigidaire to ask them for help with THEIR RESPONSIBILITY of delivering and installing microwave, as I've paid THEM, they were extremely rude and basically told me there's nothing they can do and to politely F... off. Incredible. How you can trust big names in the market after such interactions!

First and last Frigidaire appliance.

We purchased a new Frigidaire refrigerator approximately 18 months ago. The first thing to go was the water dispenser. The rest began right after the 1 year warranty expired: a yet unidentified major leak from beneath it, issues with the ice maker, valves, tubing, on and on. After multiple attempts at repair, there are more "faulty, now redesigned" parts found. We're hundreds of dollars in on repairs; our hardwood floor has been ruined, to the tune of thousands. Frigidaire CS gives conflicting info, except the bottom line that we should have purchased an extended warranty. Ask to speak to a supervisor, escalate a report, even a mailing address to send a complaint in writing vs relay info verbally to multiple CS reps and depend on what their notes say: there supposedly is none. It's become a very expensive refrigerator-slash-giant paperweight. Our first and last Frigidaire appliance. Caveat Emptor.

I’ve had my refrigerator for a few…months.

I’ve had my refrigerator for a few months , but I am upset because I can’t get the glass out of the crisper shelves and they should’ve made a way for it to come out because all the juice and meat juice gets stuck in between the glass and the plastic and you can’t get it out and you can see it.

I called customer service (a good part of which is in the Philippines or India)and they don’t know anything about the refrigerators and they only read from the owners manuals and they don’t use logic when they talk to you.

But I found out across the board that the people in customer service, the chat boxes, and every other way of contacting them requires that you give them permission to use your personal information such as name and address, you’re a cookie information and your IP address so that they can stalk you across the Internet and give you ads or have third parties give you ads and they can sell all of it to third parties, including your personal information such as your phone number. If you try to opt out of allowing them to have permission to sell your info to third parties, you are sent to a page that makes it impossible to opt out in any meaningful way.

They belong to Electrolux, which is a vacuum cleaner company and that’s the kind of scamming that vacuum cleaner companies have been notorious for. I bet they make more money off of selling your information to third-parties than they do selling refrigerators. Most companies are scammers anymore, trying to make that one last dime off of you and take you for everything you’re worth, and Frigidaire is one of them. They are not concerned with cleanliness in their refrigerators and they’re probably scamming you by selling your information like many companies are doing.

Poor Frigidaire Warranty Registration Process for Appliances

I had trouble registering my newly purchased Frigidaire microwave, Model #FM0S1846BS, for warranty coverage. I purchased the microwave from a local appliance dealer - Coast Appliances in Surrey, BC, Canada. The store where I purchased the microwave said they were shutting down and that if a problem occurred with the appliance within 1 year, it would be covered by the Manufacturer’s Warranty, i.e., Frigidaire’s Appliance Warranty. All I had to do was register the microwave for warranty coverage with Frigidaire. I tried registering my microwave multiple times online through the Frigidaire website warranty portal, but each time, I received the message “Oops, there was a problem.” I called their Service Desk (Call Centre) and explained the problem I was having. I was told there was little that could be done on account a) the microwave was old (manufactured over 6 years ago) and b) that it could not be registered because it was a clearance item. (On a sticker within the microwave it had a manufacture date in 2026.) The call centre rep told me to email them through a specific email address, if I should require further assistance regarding this matter. I wrote my concern to the email address and received a bounce-back - there was no such email address in existence. I then decided to go back to the website portal one last time to see if I could register my microwave. Strangely enough, this time I received a message that the warranty registration process had gone through, i.e., it was now registered. Additionally, I was informed that I would be receiving an email confirmation of the appliance registration - none came. I texted the web portal again about warranty coverage and was then told that the warranty for the appliance was in place - this time I was given a Warranty #. When I asked for a confirmation email that the warranty was in place, I was told none could be provided. They said that they were taking steps to improve their online warranty service. What can I say about their warranty registration process - extremely poor. I give them an "F", a failing grade.

AfDoes not Support Product Out of Warranty

After contacting the company due to issues with the Gallery range, the only solution they can offer is to make an appointment - at your cost - for repairs. They are only concerned with the product up to the warranty date. After that, you are on your own. I have had my range repaired three times and it still doesn't work. When requesting a manager, I was told that they will tell me the same thing.

Terrible products -do not buy

Microwave door panel stopped working after 1 1/2 years. Dishwasher is horrible never cleans dishes and dishes smell like sour milk after washing for 3:42 minutes because that’s how long it takes to wash and dry.
Also bought a small refrigerator for apartment which stopped working after 13 months customer service would not do anything for us, had to buy a new one and it was not a Frigidaire. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I have been a homeowner for 35 years these are by far the worst products we have ever bought.

horrible experience

horrible experience. their customer service doesn't exist. i called and was told by the AI voice i was being transferred. The line was quiet except for someone coughing loudly into the phone. i kept asking if anyone was there only to be hung up on. When i called back, i actually got to a person. They had loud music or tv on in the background. I told them about what had just happened, they brushed it off. They were rude and inconsiderate of my issues. Once they had the information from me it went a little like "ok ill call you once i hear something back, bye" and that was it. very unprofessional and terrible service.

DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE!

DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE!! We remodeled our kitchen 7 years ago, bought all new frigidaire appliances, looked beautiful! Oven went out after 3 years, they couldn't get the part, gave us our money back, when we went to buy another one the price had increased $200. Now that Oven went out too! So in 7 years we have had 2 stoves, 2nd one now out. 2 microwaves, ice maker quit working in the refrigerator, gears quit. We are old and retired, so I don't use the dishwasher, just wash dishes by hand, but I'm sure if I used it regularly it would probably have had to be replaced too!! I will never buy another frigidaire appliance!

The worst service I have ever experienced

I wish I could rate below a one to be honest. I am appalled that such a reputable company can offer such sheer incompetency. I have been without a fridge for over two weeks with no end in sight, and not a single service worker has been able to offer me a concrete reason or solution. DO NOT GET FRIGIDAIRE!!!

Stove broke (less than 2 years old

Stove broke (less than 2 years old - thanks for the "great" product, Frigidaire). I placed order at Frigidaire.com same day, delivery was promised in 4 days. Two weeks later after multiple calls they didn't even bother to ship it. Cancelled, went with KitchenAid. The worst appliance company I ever dealt with.

I was sold an oven with Frigidaire…

I was sold an oven with Frigidaire knowing it had a gas leak and would need repair. One month after buying it I received a notice of gas leak on our model oven, and they would need to repair it. Why wasn't it recalled and fixed before they sold it so me a month before. I was sold a known broken and dangerous product. Six months later it is still not repaired (not for me trying to get it fixed), and I can't use it until it is repaired, due to the known gas leak and Frigidaire knowing people have been seriously hurt by the gas leak causing an explosion. What did I spend a lot of money on!?!

2.5 Years of Unresolved Appliance Defect & Trapped in a Customer Service Loop

I am writing this to warn anyone considering buying a Frigidaire appliance. I have owned a Frigidaire Gas Range (Model: FGGH3047VFB) for nearly three years, and for the last 2.5 years, it has had a major defect: the front high-output burner burns and scorches our cooking utensils and pots on even the lowest settings.
What is worse than a defective product is Frigidaire’s abysmal, broken customer service ecosystem. I have an extended warranty, yet dealing with their service department has been a living nightmare:
Incompetent Diagnoses: Rather than checking internal mechanics like the valve calibrations or burner orifices, technicians have repeatedly offered lazy excuses. Most recently, they blamed our household gas pressure, despite the fact that our previous GE range worked perfectly for years and every other gas appliance in our home works flawlessly.
Broken Repair Network: When I called customer service to demand a real resolution, they openly admitted that their in-house factory technicians are "unavailable for the foreseeable future." Their only solution is to continuously dispatch the exact same third-party repair company that previously showed up, talked to an internal rep on the phone, and left without doing a single thing to fix the stove.
Zero Accountability: Frigidaire has absolutely no phone number, email, or department where a customer can escalate a chronic, unresolved issue. Frontline agents simply tell you they can do nothing but send the same failed technicians back to your house.
Predatory Warranty Focus: While their repair department completely ghosts me and misses appointments, their sales department relentlessly calls and emails me to get me to renew my extended warranty. They care deeply about taking my money, but zero percent about whether my appliance actually works.
My warranty is up for renewal in two days. Why would anyone pay for a warranty when the company openly admits they don't have the technicians to honor it?
If you want a reliable appliance and a company that stands behind its work, stay far away from Frigidaire. They will take your money, leave you with a broken kitchen, and trap you in an endless loop of customer service dead-ends.

If anyone from Frigidaire corporate actually reads this and wants to look up my extensive case file, my model is FGGH3047VFB and my serial number starts with VF2070XXXX. Contact me directly to resolve this.
