Helle Krogsgaard has been an amazing advisor.
I was looking for a career change and her help was precious from start to end.
Now I am excited to start a new job in a new industry soon and can't be more grateful.

The website and user portal is not user friendly at all. I have been looking into my portal to find out the insurance policies and benefits with no luck. I have asked for terms and policies to be sent to me, but I only got the payment detail. I think there are lots of rooms for improvements.

I'm writing this specifically for the interaction that I had with Sanne Hvam on 02/09/21

I called completely confused about the entire system (despite paying into it for several years already) and not only was Sanne able to clear up everything for me so that I now feel I understand it all, she also was very honest in helping me work through my options. I ultimately decided to stay.

Besides the help that she could provide, she also has a very cheerful personality and I enjoyed chatting with her. In my opinion (and I work with Sales and Customer Service as a part of my job) she embodies exactly what people in the role should be - professional, clear, kind, and personable.

Thanks for your help Sanne. Now I know if I need more in the future, I can just reach out to you, which helps me to feel secure in my choices.

It was a very good experience with Frie, the cousellors and career advisors were very patient, supportive and knowledgeable to help review CVs, Cover letters, Linkedin profile, networking tips and provide great inputs for landing a new role.

Received very good support in finding a new position in a new industry following a redundancy. I did not feel there was pressure to find the first job, it was very much about finding the right job that fitted my skill set. I looked forward to the regular coaching phone calls, and my counsellor helped me stay on track and prioritise the right tasks to find my way to the new role.

Discriminate against Danish non speakers. While trying to get some advise from my union for work related issues I had, I was not given the customer service reflecting the service I have been paying for months. I had to get a friend to ring on my behalf which was a Danish speaker to get the required answer as the workers on the other end didn’t seem to want to help when they heard me speaking English and this has happen a couple of occasions.

I am very happy with A-kasse FRIE, I would recommend it to anyone! First of all their service is simply priceless when losing a job, secondly their employees are very helpful, and they always work in the best interest of their customers. They are very patient and answering all the questions. They support in the job search and advise on the CV. TAK FOR ALT!

I had to use the private unemployment insurance from Frie, as I lost my right to A-Kasse after some changes in regulations, during the previous government. I can say I have fully used the service recently, when I lost my job, got paid by Frie during the time of employment and also received consultation for searching and applying jobs until I found a new job. It was generally a smooth process and positive experience.
The negative sides are: The fact that you have to prove that you are active in searching jobs adds extra pressure. Also I still had to pay the monthly fee during unemployment without any deduction. However, it is unlikely that I turn to A-Kasse now that I have the option and I can suggest it to others.

Great experience with fantastic feedback. I will use this again.
