Failed parts delivery by chosen courier replaced within 24 hours without any hassle. Company took immediate ownership of the problem without charge. Brilliant!!
had an electrical connection problem with a US electronic windvane (Sailtimer). James the salesman offered to replace and fit the part from his own stock which he did overnight and at no charge. I am very impressed and grateful, Thanks once again James
Had total engine failure and had to be towed to a buoy at Felixstowe ferry on the Tuesday afternoon.phoned Jason at French marine and he said he probably wouldn’t be able to come to my aid until Thursday but he would try to shuffle things round and come down Wednesday and this he did arriving Wednesday afternoon
After a thorough and professional evaluation I was given good advice and very helpful instructions I would recommend French marine to anyone
My boat was on the hard just outside of their office door. I asked for a quote to change a cutlass bearing. It took almost a month for them to take a look. They cannot claim they were busy as everytime I phoned you could hear them messing about in the office.
When they eventually got back to me I was told that it would cost about £4000! They claimed they would have to remove the cockpit floor and take out the engine as the prop had to be drawn into the boat.
I local chap did the job in less than half a day and didn't even need to drop the rudder (there were 2 pass through tingles).
I have heard similar stories from other boat owners.
I will never use them or recommend them.
