Freeview is the worst tv platform…

Freeview is the worst tv platform available. Poor quality programming, constant repeats, the same films swapped between the various operators. The companies running the various channels are taking the pxxx. People are paying good money via license fee for this, the service is appalling.

unfit for purpose

freeview is unfit for purpose and they are no help in fixing it. and for this reason the licence fee should be scrapped as we are unable to watch tv

Don’t have any trouble with reception…

Don’t have any trouble with reception but the repeat of programs and films is appalling and quite frankly embarrassing and if you’re trying to earn money with advertising you will be losing because people will not be watching the constant bombardment of repeats! Date of experience is false as is all the time

Pathetic

Pathetic. No notice of transmitters works. It's been a week now with no TV. No contact about when, if ever, service will be resumed. We live in West Yorkshire not some far flung outcrop. Utterly useless.

It's rubb

Why is it free? Because its garbage. Tv guide NEVER works. Reception stops as soon as you switch on another hdmi device.

BEYOND A JOKE NOW!

Another poor decision to "improve" reception in the Oldham area. Have now got problems with ALL HD channels constantly losing signal. Average signal strength 26% and signal quality 30%. Incompetence!

Free view customer support

My interaction with a free view customer support deserves to be in a Fawlty Towers sketch! I complained about the signal disappearing when it rains and he told me yes it is known as rain fade! When I said I’m glad to know the condition has a name, but what can you do abou it he said just wait for the weather to pick up again!! It would’ve been hilarious 😂 if it wasn’t so frustrating. Bring back my analog TV anytime. I have taken screenshots of my exchange with this hapless customer service guy if anyone interested or able to publicise this asinine exchange

I would give -100 Stars if i could for…

I would give -100 Stars if i could for Freeview or Bore view as it should be named.
Freeview so i thought was aimed at people that can't afford Sky and others,So they have some TV channels to watch to stop them going mad with nothing.
But Freeview actually drives you mad as the same same same programmes are repeated for Years.
I loved 8 out of 10 Cats do Countdown,But for Years they will run complete series on a Channel,Then repeat it all over again on another,This has been happening for Years.
Same with Inbetweeners,Would i lie to you,Taskmaster,Top Gear.
How many times does the people think people just want to watch same stuff but on different Channels for Years and Years and Years?
People who work for freeview are Morons and people who are at the top jobs of Freeview are no bodies and do not deserve their wages.
There are millions of Films and programmes,So try putting some on Freeview will you.
People should not pay anything for this utter rubbish called Freeview!!

Terrible TV

Freeview is not free as you have to pay for a TV licence just to watch programming, constant charity advertising, boring films and old shows played on a daily loop, I've given up and listen to the radio.

too many interruptions to the actual…

too many interruptions to the actual show. the viewer is bombarded with slide shows of other freevee shows and then bombarded with ads. the interruptions actually takes information away while showing the slide show. it would be easier to watch another streaming service that provides quality show, than over abundants of commericals and ads.
