Freenet is one of the worst companies I have dealt with in Germany. I signed a two-year contract for internet at €11.98 per month, but they have been charging me much more than the agreed amount.... See more

Charge for roam INSIDE EU! No customer service!

Do not make a contract with any brand FREENET! I have the data plan since July 2023 (140GB LTE). As my bill is paid directly with a debit in my bank account, they charged me €50 for a trip to Vienna, which goes against my contract. I tried to call them, no online chat or email, and you had to insert several numbers in a matter of seconds. In the end, they offer you time to call you back. Now I have to extend my contract for a way larger cost and I get no explanation for that. I'm terminating my contract now.

I have been misguided by the customer care executive in freenet who called me to extend my existing contract which is expiring in april 2024. what he has done is he has increased my existing contract from 55 euro to 75 euro which I did not ask for. also he promised the new phone in 5 days ( i asked him thrice if he is sure, he said yes). now customer care says it will take 8 to 10 weeks. i wrote letters to them no response. he explained to me in english and then asked me to say 'yes 'when call recording in germany, is there someone who can help me. I feel lost and cheated.

Scam - terrible customer service

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Freenet's services, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. I initially requested a prepaid SIM card, which was the start of my problems. The card never worked properly, and it was a constant struggle to get any assistance.

To make matters worse, they asked me to pay additional fees to load balance, which I reluctantly did, hoping it would resolve the issue. However, despite my efforts and payments, the SIM card still didn't work as promised.

The real kicker came after a month when I received an unexpected invoice for monthly automated payments, something that was never mentioned or discussed when I signed up for their services. I reached out to their customer service in sheer frustration, only to be met with complete indifference and rudeness. They even had the audacity to hang up on me during our conversation.

As if this wasn't enough, Freenet had the nerve to charge me a 10% late fee on top of everything else. This company's practices are nothing short of a scam, and I strongly urge everyone to stay far away from them. They are not only incompetent but also incredibly rude and deceitful. Save yourself the headache and find a more reliable and ethical service provider.

Found out today that I'd being 9.99 €…

Found out today that I'd being 9.99 € for the last two months for a subscription to a german magazine ( I'm english) that I'd never agreed to. I did get a phone call from Freenet where they where trying to sell me something but I said over and over again that I did not want it. They are truly a rip-off company. Never answer one of their phone calls. I will definitely change providers when my contract is over.
