Misleading “Free” Distribution – Hidden Removal Fees
At first glance, this platform seems appealing because it offers free music distribution. However, my experience raised serious concerns about transparency. While you can upload and distribute your music without paying upfront, the real issue appears later.
If you want to take down your release, you are required to pay a fee — and not just once. The platform charges around $10 per store for removing a single release. This means if your music is distributed across multiple platforms, you’ll have to pay separately for each one, which can quickly add up.
What’s frustrating is that this important detail is not clearly stated on their website. A service that promotes itself as “free” should be upfront about any costs, especially something as important as takedown fees.
Because of this lack of transparency, I find the service misleading. I would strongly advise other artists to read the terms carefully before using it. Free distribution isn’t truly free if you’re locked into paying later just to remove your own music.
