It was all great, apart from the excursions in both cases there just wasn’t enough time to get the maximum output for the time effort & money spent. Really needs looking at.. Sri our head waiter was really helpful & gave excellent customer service.

Tracey was professional, responsive answering all our questions. Rang us back when the transaction was completed. Yes very happy.

The cruise was lovely, albeit we were blessed with the weather. The ship was comfortable and and crew were all excellent and very friendly.
As a member of Coppull and Standish brass band, I want to thank Fred for the opportunity to play for your passengers. From the responses we had at the concerts and as we walked around the ship during the cruise, it seems they very much enjoyed the performances with many saying ‘it was the best entertainment throughout the week’. I was sorry to hear a passenger saying ‘we had ruined her cruise experience’. She went in to be explain, as a first time cruiser, for future cruises she would now have to look for a ship like Bolette, but it would have to have a brass band! 😂

A great small ship, excellent food and the service exemplary. The waiters in the restaurant and our cabin maid were the best we have ever had in 12 cruises.

⁹Staff on the ship were attentive and professional. Food was exceptional even in the buffet. Like that it's served for you without lots of people handling serving spoons. Lots of variety too, and no cheap cuts of meat. Entertainment team worked hard and didn't exclude any from the activities even if a bit wobbly. A relaxed atmosphere and no stuffiness. My only criticism is the excruciatingly high volume in the show lounge.

We took our third cruise with Fred Olsen recently - a scenic tour around Ireland. Once again, we could not fault the staff, the accommodation, the food, the entertainment and the shoreside experiences. They even arranged fabulous weather for us so we really saw Ireland at its best! We have never sailed with any other cruise company, apart from Fred Olsen, nor would we wish to.

Comfortable air conditioned cabins and lounge areas, excellent staff and mostly good entertainment. Good quality food and service in the main dining room and the self service area.

They are cutting back with everything on board. Breakfast in room now only half the choices it used to be, Meals in dinning room smaller choice, no information of ports except in reception on ports you have to take a photo for a map of the port. Pen from room replaced by small pencil that has now stopped. Drinks have been increased by 20%,

Brilliant company to sail with, just completed our fourth cruise with them and was not disappointed with the level of service received.

Very comfortable,spacious cabin. Staff always pleasant and attentive,delicious food and a good choice of activities.

The Fred Olsen flagshp Bolette is a beautiful lady, gleaming after it's refurbishment, and Fred knows how to organise a wonderful cruise experience. I particularly like the wine and drinks with lunch and dinner, the Captain's welcome and farewell parties, the lovely pool, the transfers into town centres, and let's not forget the helpful and friendly crew, and the really good food served on board. The lunch buffet puts most cruise line buffets to shame. All in all, a great cruise experience at an affordable price.

There is so many things I can say about Fred, but I won’t waffle on, just one word amazing.

I had a lovely holiday aboard the Balmoral the staff were so welcoming and made every one feel at home. I greatly enjoyed the trips which were organised by the company the highlight of my holiday being a helicopter ride which i will never forget.The entertainment was first class and the lectures were excellent.Thank you all for all of this.

My first cruise with Fred was very enjoyable, excellent ship and crew, lots of great memories. Interesting ports and I enjoyed all entertainment, including Brass Band Concerts and Irish Dancers. I especially chose this cruise for ballroom dancing but found the dance floors in Ocean Room and Observatory quite small, tables on dance floor did not help, disappointed that Neptune not available. All 4 Dance Hosts and Synergy excellent to dance to, Dance Couple not so good, it was better when they were unavailable!

The entertainment was much better, only 2 ify nights with a comedian. Would be great if this was 0.
Dinning - food and service is great but set times and allocated tables are awful.
The selection of wines on the Freedom fare is extremely limited and a bit poor.
Glad to see tips are now included in fare.

Great itinerary. Attentive friendly crew. Fantastic food and amazing entertainment.
Lovely ship, plenty of amenities. Plenty of space per passenger. Roomy cabin comfy beds plenty of storage.

Great cruise round Ireland. Fabulous food and service. Staff were amazing, as always.

Just a great experience from start to finish. The staff on the ship were incredible especially Jhameel and LP our waiters at table 74 in the evenings. I would definitely recommend Fred Olsen.
