Use KLARNA!!!
This company are terrible! Deliberately confusing payment system with no essential information given on purchases via the app! Use Klarna instead, they are vastly superior.
Changed from studio to fraser and signed me up to a contract I don't accept
Changed from studio to frazer plus without me even knowing. Had to find this out by logging into studio to try and pay my bill but couldn't as it was with Fraser plus. Go to frazer plus and they have automatically put me on a 45 month plan which ive not agreed to and won't be doing. I try to pay what I normally pay yet it hasn't taken that all of, it says half of it will go to next months bill. With studio Ive always paid more than the minimum amount and never had a problem doing so. Yet fraser plus hasn't honoured anything they have taken.on.
The debt purchaser must follow the same rules as your original creditor. You keep all the same legal rights. They cannot add interest or charges unless they are in the terms of your original credit agreement. Studio didn't have monthly plans so they arent following the same rules. And they have double the amount I owe them if not more, £1000 and they want £3000 back.
Account closure.
I paid off my balance but I paid £6.49 to much . As they couldn't manage to refund the small amount they refunded it all for me to resend with the exact amount with the promise after that my account would be closed and weeks later it still isn't. Ive emailed again and I am now going through the exact same process to close the account as they said they had done before. Very disappointing.
App doesn't work
App doesn't work. Their number doesn't ring through. When the app did work it was next to impossible to use. Now I'm in arrears with them because they make it impossible to actually pay. Not sure why it wasn't just an automatic payment when over been requested to input my details too? Honestly worst thing I've ever done is opening an account
Absolutely abysmal company
Absolutely abysmal company. Their customer service is poor. Acknowledgement of emails is bad, replies are either non existent or in a couple of days if you're lucky.
It's a shame that this was the offering that took Studio out of or near to administration.
If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have bothered with a Studio account.
Apparently Fraser Plus do not send…
Apparently Fraser Plus do not send letters out. Online only ?!?! As someone who reads letters, with my Dyslexia far better with the letter format as requested via preferred format. That’s not possible 🙅
Fraser + Solve-Issue = Complication
Problem Update Continued... (Note: I took off personal details from the letter I copied of my email)
Just to show how unprofessional and robotic this has become this is what I got the very next day after contacting Fraser Plus support. I never even said anything about closing my account. That idea came from their heads not mine. Yet they’re still acting like I owe that interest fully convinced without even looking into the mess properly. At this point I genuinely believe they don’t investigate cases at all it’s probably just some automated template response they’ve customised to send whatever suits them. Even a robot would understand this situation better.
And yes of course I had in mind to close the account after the last use with Fraser Plus but I never got round to it. And knowing them they’ll probably reopen it just to make me pay money I don’t even owe. What’s even funnier they haven’t even offered their so called three months no interest plan just straight up one month like I’ve been hit with a penalty for something I didn’t do.
This also came straight after my first Trustpilot review about their service and the issue. Coincidence? I doubt it.
And to make it worse the original Studio contract the one I actually agreed to from the beginning has been abolished just to force me into their new terms. Terms I haven’t even opted into or out of because I wasn’t even told they existed. So there you go readers don’t fall into this trap.
It also shows that even if I chose a monthly plan that’s closer to what I originally had with Studio I’ll still be charged interest. Madness. No logic just profit.
Here’s the exact message they sent me:

Hi Yaqoub
Thank you for contacting Frasers Plus
We’re sorry to hear you’d like to close your account with us. Is there anything we can do to make you stay? We’d love to keep you as a customer so if there’s something we can help with that will change your mind please let us know. You can reply to us directly to this email.
Please note I've blocked your account to prevent further purchases upon your account closure request.
If you’d still like to proceed before we can close your account you will need to pay off your total outstanding balance which is currently £1749.92. This is made up of purchases plus interest due this month. For you to pay in full you will need to replan from a 45 month plan to 1 month.
Once you have replanned it will calculate the full bill due and the adjusted interest please note that if you reduce the plan it will also reduce the interest charged as you would be paying off sooner than expected.
How to replan:
1. Open the app
2. Find the transaction you wish to reduce and tap it
3. Move the slider to the left to reduce the repayment plan
4. The app will calculate how much interest you'll pay
5. When you're happy choose 'confirm'
Once you have replanned to 1 month and you are ready to pay you can use one of our 3 accepted payment methods to make the final payment and clear your balance.
Please see link below on how to pay bill:
How do I pay my bill?
If want to transfer the payment over please use the details below:
New bank sort code:
New bank account number:
You’ll need to include your payment reference when making a bank transfer.
Once your account balance is showing zero please reply to this email thread confirming and we will proceed with your account closure.
Kind regards
Xolani

FrasersPlus Service Review – Disappointing Experience
I used FrasersPlus as a payment method for an order placed on the SportsDirect website, where this option is actively promoted both online and in-store. The payment process through the FrasersPlus app was smooth, and I received an email confirmation of my order along with a delivery date.
However, the experience quickly turned frustrating. Despite the confirmation, the goods never arrived on the promised delivery date. Concerned, I raised a complaint with SportsDirect. After 10 days, I was informed that they were unable to authorize the payment method—the very one they advertise and encourage customers to use.
In the meantime, I had already paid FrasersPlus in full, especially after reading poor reviews on Trustpilot. I didn’t want to risk any additional charges or complications.
When I contacted FrasersPlus, I received no satisfactory explanation. I also requested to raise a formal complaint, but there seemed to be clear resistance from both companies to take accountability. I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed, having wasted hours chasing responses from two companies that appear to lack coordination and customer care.
Overall Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5)
Pros: Easy initial payment process
Cons:
Failed delivery
Poor communication
Lack of accountability
No clear resolution process
Time-consuming and stressful experience
I would not recommend using FrasersPlus based on this experience.
The most unprofessional company ever…
The most unprofessional company ever paid in full closed my account saying I owe them money Ombusman should be told been scammed to with them please nobody use them
another message saying I owe even more money take me to court bring it on awful service
BAD PRACTICES, UNPROFESSIONAL
The practices of this business should be reported to the financial Ombudsman and the FCA.
In shop they push you to sign up. you click on the 3 repayment option with no interest but then when you check the app you are on a long term plan with very high interest. I have now changed the repayment to 3 payments and set up a direct debit. I hope I will not be charged extra.
Honestly do not deal with these charlatans
As a Fraser plus joiner through shopping with sports direct,I used the app here and there. After being transferred to them by studio catalogue (Shop Direct), it's been a confusing time.
You will be charged for trying to pay off your bill early unless it's one lump sum. This was not what I signed up with with studio.
In all honestly and solemnly would not advise anyone to use them. I have a balance with them but as soon as it is small enough to lump sum pay I will.
I feel I will need to write to the FCA regarding them, it brings back the dad of PPI and I'm sure there was a law about allowing people to pay off their debts early without charge.
It's actually sad to see this, and even sadder that they are getting away with it.
Literally a scam
Literally a scam, they pre-populate your repayments without consent to the longest payment period and highest interest charges. I was told in the shop that I could pay in three instalments which they did on their tablet, but it turns out it was in 26 instalments. Customer service is all via chat, no phone number and never again will I deal with this company. Scammers!
Customer service agents that don't care
Phoned customer servicw and the call. Goes through, the agent was having a conversation with their colleague about some private secret website they use and never addressed me. On the phone so I had to hang up and call again
Called again and the agent refused to continue the call because I wouldn't answer his affordability and financial questions. I was only informing them payment would be made a day later due to when I get paid. I hung up furious before he could terminate the call. The third call I got through to someone although helpful was stand offish and a little rude at times. Talking in a tone that made me out to be at fault simply because I refuse to answer sensitive questions about my finances with you guys. I am not at fault and I am not going to trust you guys with asking me about anything private like finances not now especially after an absolutely deplorable service I've gotten.
This is the worst platform I have ever…
This is the worst platform I have ever used. If you want to ruin the credit score you have built over years in just one month, this is the way to do it. Choosing Fraser Plus was the biggest mistake I have ever made.
Archaic and designed to cost you
The system is literally run on spreadsheets. Archaic, unclear, a lot of miscommunication and it is all designed to ensure you are late/they can charge you more. I thought the monthly payments were taken by debit but it turns out unless you specify, payments must be made manually/bank transfer. (cash) it's 2025 wtf?? I paid a monthly payment early and was given notice it was late. When I pointed out it was paid early I was told they had 56 days to respond to my complaint but if the acct wasn't brought up to date (it had already been paid) they would be informing a credit reference agency. Essentially they added a late fee which was only visible by logging into the account while I paid the amount due that had been highlighted on both email and text. They then added another late fee after the early payment because the previous late payment wasn't clear. This set up is deliberately designed for customers to fail. They make their money on additional fees each month. Do not use this. You are better to buy elsewhere and use pay in three or Klarna. Much clearer and instant. They sell nothing that can't be purchased from retailers with real dignity and a commitment to customer service. In the end it's £24 but the hassle, stress and dint on your credit file is simply not worth it. Neither is the snooty customer service attitude.
I am deeply disappointed with my recent…
I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience with FrasersPlus. Despite the fact that my payment was not a full month overdue (there were still four days remaining), they reported it as “one month late” on my credit file. This is inaccurate, misleading, and completely unjustified.
I raised this issue through the proper channels, but their response was dismissive and inflexible. They refuse to correct an error that could have a long-term negative impact on my credit rating—despite clear evidence that the payment did not meet the threshold for a full month’s delinquency. I’ve never had a late payment in my history until now, and the way this has been handled is both unprofessional and concerning.
Their unwillingness to take responsibility or even consider a fair resolution has left me with no choice but to escalate the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service. If you value your credit score and expect fairness, I strongly advise reconsidering any dealings with them
