Overpriced not that impressive photo’s

What bothered us most was the lack of transparency about the pricing. They never clearly explained the prices beforehand. Only after the photos were taken and we had already selected our favorites did they suddenly show us the price list. In the end, we paid €156 for 13 photos, which is extremely overpriced for what you actually get.

The quality of the photos was also not impressive. A few were decent, but overall they were just typical holiday pictures that anyone with a good camera could have taken. Definitely not the level you would expect for that price.

On top of that, they pressure you into buying the photos the same evening because supposedly the pictures will be “removed from the computer” the next day. While choosing the photos, we also felt rushed the entire time, as if we had to make a decision as quickly as possible.

Even during the photo shoot itself, everything felt rushed and impersonal. The photographer clearly wanted to finish quickly and move on to the next customers.

Overall, extremely expensive for mediocre photos and a very pushy, commercial approach. I would definitely not recommend it.

The price of the photographs takes into account the operational costs of the service and is set by a specialised department, which adjusts pricing based on these factors and current market conditions.

In terms of the photographic style, our goal is to capture natural and spontaneous holiday memories in a relaxed atmosphere. We are sorry that the final result was not fully to your satisfaction.

Very disrespectful management and managers

After reading the negative reviews about this company, I am not surprised. My own experience reflects many of the same issues.

Very disrespectful and toxic environment.

They do not appreciate capable and talented salespeople and photographers at all.

You never get credit for anything you do right—only complaints and criticism. This comes from the photo manager, area manager, and others in the agency.

Work equipment is old and broken: cameras don’t function properly, flashes don’t work, and nobody cares to replace them. This makes your job harder, yet they still expect excellent results. There are no chairs to sit on, and cables are left underfoot at photo points.

The photo manager lives with you and thinks far too highly of herself (The area manager and office managers thinks far too highly of themselves as well). They want to “manage” every little thing, leaving you no space to breathe. On top of that, three other workers share the apartment with you, so you have no privacy or personal space. The energy in both the apartment and workplace is very negative.

The cantina is extremely noisy, the food is poor quality, and it’s always the same. It often makes you feel sick, so you end up cooking for yourself or going on a diet.

The apartment is about 10 minutes from the hotel where you work, requiring you to run up and uphills and stairs just to get there. Meanwhile, some people live right across the street from their hotel. Apartment conditions are bad: cockroaches inside and outside, street noise, and no proper window in your room.

You work 6-7 days in raw.

The worst part is how they treat good employees who actually do a great job. There is no appreciation whatsoever. Managers and management think only of themselves and have no idea how to talk to or treat employees with respect.

The area manager once lost his temper, yelled, and roughly grabbed the camera out of my hands aggressively even touched my hand—which is absolutely unacceptable.

The office manager is also extremely disrespectful, with a high temper. Managers of this agency and people in the office of this agency constantly make things up that you never said. They never give you space to express yourself or share your opinion. They only listen to each other, never to their employees —especially new employees, who mean nothing to them.

This company should not exist under such management and conditions. The culture and mentality are aggressive and unhealthy.

I would not recommend this company. It’s sad they never realize what they are losing, while selfish and self-centered managers continue to think only the best of themselves.

Actually be there for good people. Don’t take hardworking employees for granted. Be human, treat others with respect, and STOP MAKING THINGS UP! Show respect and truly listen to your employees. Change the entire management team and start over!

I could have continued working in another hotel, but after the area manager threatened me aggressively, I no longer wanted to work for such a disrespectful agency.

After that experience, I didn’t even want to continue collaborating with the agency anymore at all. When I asked to speak with the management team on the phone and finally got connected with the office manager, he didn’t give me a single moment to talk or express how I felt. Not at all. The reasons are clear: they wanted to look good. They knew they were wrong but couldn’t admit their mistakes.

During the following month, we acknowledge that your performance in the job was good. However, new conflicts arose both in the workplace and in the shared apartment, involving different figures within the company (trainer, HR, operations manager, colleagues, hotel manager and area manager). Due to the accumulation of incidents and in order to safeguard the well-being and harmony of the rest of the team, the company was ultimately forced to end the collaboration.

We respect your opinion and we are genuinely sorry that the experience was not positive for you. However, we firmly believe that respect, communication and teamwork are essential in an environment where people both work and live together.

Really good photos

We stayed at H10 Atlantic Sunset in Tenerife and Daniel took our photos. He was fantastic and the photos turned out beautifully.

Pushy rude manager, overpriced blurry photos

Pushy rude manager!!

Each evening when we went down to dinner in our hotel which we have been to several times before we were pestered and nagged for photos every single night for 2 weeks. In the end we booked a session so they would back off.

When it came to looking at the photos we wanted to purchase the manager (an italian gentleman) was VERY pushy not listening to the fact that we did not want to buy all 178 photos and spend endless amounts of money.

We looked at the cheapest option where you buy 5 photos for 65€ which as a photographer i think is extortionate.

We we're hesitating on which option to go for when the manager said 'don't worry about the money, money isn't a problem for you' which I found extremely disrespectful and rude! Money may not be important to FotoEventi or this member.of staff but it certainly is to us as customers.

When we purchased the photos after a very frustrating experience, we realised that one of the photos were blurry. The gentleman sharpened it but it still wasn't great quality especially for the price. We certainly will not be using Fotoeventi group again.

Our usual hotel previously used another photo company who were excellent, reasonable and friendly, shame this company is so pushy and rude as it spoils the outstanding experience the hotel offers!

Professional, friendly service.

Ewa was great and took some excellent shots of my daughter, wife and myself. Really took the time to speak to us during the shoot and was incredibly professional. We bought more than 20 photos and had over 50 to choose from; Ewa took her time to go through them all with us. Our prints were ready just aover 2 hours later. Extremely happy with the service. Thank you.

I m a Photographer here

I worked at FotoEventi in last summer season, it was my first time in the Canary Islands.
For me it is a great experience as the Photographer, meeting people from all over the world, freezing moments of the holidays so that families can take them home.
So this year I returned because I realized that when you do what you enjoy and love, you can do it even better any time.
I am very grateful to be here, the company has always been open and flexible. I also remember the training that was very complete.
Here I think that I learned much more about photography than in the courses I took.

Do not do the PHOTO ALBUM

I met a lovely photographer when i was in lanzarote she was extremely dedicated. she took loads of photos and showed them to me on the screen. i loved most of them and she sold me on having the photo album. The photo album did not come cheap, paid almost £300. it was a disappointment when it arrived. while some of the photos were acceptable, a large number were blurry and the face not clear.

i got in contact with the company, they asking me to send numerous photos of the album which i did and they kept insisting nothing was wrong. i was gutted. i was so looking forward to the Photo Album

AVOID AVOID SCAM SCAM

We was staying at the tui blue tres vidas and booked in the photo with foto eventi group. We was told it was €50 for the photo shoot. After we selected about 50 photos was told we get a free memory stick with photos on (we didn’t wanted any printed as we can do that at home) but after selecting the photos they still wanted us to pay €270 for our photos even though the memory stick is free! AVOID AVOID SCAM SCAM

Proposal Shoot

Me and my fiancé stayed at Bahia Principe Sunlight. On the evening of May the 3rd, he proposed to me. The way the proposal was planned out was beautiful, and the photographers did an exceptional job. They were so friendly and really patient. Although you don't need to commit to purchasing the photos, me and my fiancé both decided to. The quality of the photos was incredible. I would definently recommend them, as they're really professional and have an amazing service.

Staying in H10 Lanzarote Princess,Met…

Staying in H10 Lanzarote Princess,Met Jiri and his colleague the photographer from FotoEventi and he took some beautiful pictures of the kids in the pool and also we went on a quick photoshoot.We have 2 kids with autism and his professionalism and patience was top class,highly recommended.Thanks Jiri for capturing memories of a lifetime.

The photos taken by the professional…

The photos taken by the professional photographer from Photo Eventi were not at all professional. For the price you should and can get much more professional photos. It’s just waste of money and time. They don’t let you know in advance that the photos will be totally cropped and they hide the price list as in case people would know in advance the prices they would just turn around.

Andrea and Michela - Did some fantastic photos - Hotel Orquidea

My family and I have just spent our holidays in Gran Canaria, at the Hotel Orquidea in Bahia Feliz. Here we met the photographers Andrea and Michela from Fotoeventi Group. After taking a lot of amazing pictures of our children at and in the swimming pool, we decided to make an appointment with them for a decided photo session for the whole family. We were really pleased, because here we had taken a lot of amazing pictures in some beautiful surroundings in the hotel area and on the beach. We ended up buying 300 images on a USB key. It should be said that there is no buying bargain despite the time spent on such a photo session. Good service and sweet photographers and they take pictures that you as a family will not regret. Fotoeventi Group should be associated with several hotels (they may also be). - Thanks for the pictures.
