I received a jacket for Christmas from my Dad. I'm based in the UK and we don't have any Foret stores here to try things on for sizing.

I was hoping to return the jacket for an S (my dad had ordered a M). They only do returns for refunds. We were charged a whopping 28% of the order to make the return. It did say this before we returned, but had little choice as it was the wrong size. They really should offer swaps at the very least.

I won't be buying the replacement jacket from them.

UK buyer. Found this brand through John Lewis and then went direct to their website after not having the sizing or range I was looking for. As the items were coming from Denmark, I appreciated that sizings are on the website so I could check my existing size T-shirts before purchasing. They arrived just shy of 2 weeks from purchasing which is pretty close to their expected delivery time of 5-7 working days. I bought 3 T-shirts and they’re lovely quality, as well as a good price on sale. Had quick comms back too when I asked about expected shipment date. Will definitely keep on eye on the website in future and I hope they manage to expand to a greater selection within the UK in the future.

Quality perfect, style perfect

Good quality that's not the problem. But honestly, horrible customer service. They literally talked like a kid instead of caring about their customers!

I bought a $80 hat that arrived too small and when I returned it, they took $70 for shipping and gave me $7. Customer service is horrible and it feels like a scam company. Beware.

I have been a customer at forêt for a few years now. I primarily buy clothes for my boyfriend (and then cheekily borrow them) and my experience has always been very good. It's easy to tell that forêt is a business run by passionate people, and the entire customer experience reflects that completely. I give forêt my biggest recommendations to anyone who may be in doubt.

I've ordered from them numerous times and never experienced any trouble at all.

Most importantly, the clothing is stellar in both quality and looks. My first pieces from there have been heavily worn through six years and are, despite this fact, still going strong. With their sustainable approach to clothing and Danish heritage (I'm Danish myself), I've found myself coming back several times.

Lastly, I might add that the one time I was in contact with their costumer service, I was treated professionally and kindly.

Let’s start on paying for returns. I’m all for it, and commend Forét for not conforming to ‘industry norms’ set by fast-fashion giants with no regard for environmental costs. (Greenpeace estimates returning a pair of jeans adds 24% to its CO2 footprint.) These aren’t budget items, so you’re going to think before buying, and that should mean you’re more likely to keep them when they arrive. If you’ve changed your mind, then pay up for your mistake.
The only caveat to this is that items must be accurately described on the website. So a medium overshirt listed as ‘regular fit’ shouldn’t turn out to be large when you check the sizing details. This happened with my last Forét order, so I sent it back and re-ordered a small because 1) the shirt is quality, and 2) I got a good personal response from Jeppe.
I have to admit, other priorities mean I’m strictly a ‘sales buyer’, but even if I was paying full price I’d be happy to support a retailer doing things the right and sustainable way.

Ordering process went very smoothly and the product quality is exceptional.

Bought 2 pairs of pants which I misjudged the size on. I got them swapped for a new size and the quality is extremely good.

I had an issue with a product a little too small because they changed a little bit the cut from a year to another by listening the user's returns, so they gave me a coupon for my next order and change my order.

I was excited about the wool sweater and shirt I purchased during the sale. They both look and feel great, but I was disappointed when the stitching started to come loose within a week. While the items are still wearable, I expected better quality considering the price point. This has made me question the brand’s claims about durability and craftsmanship. I’m still on the fence about returning.

I'm really happy with my order from foret. The quality of the wool coat is very good and it fits perfectly. The order process and shipping was also smooth and fast.

Love the brand for its creativity - the style is quite classic in its core, but it comes with a twist and innovative designs. If you want slow fashion and sustainability on top, then this is a definite go to brand - as it is for me - purchased jumpers, sweaters and t-shirts over the last years - all still beloved pieces of my wardrobe!
