Be very careful when dealing with this company

We had dealt with this company in the past and we’re very satisfied, but the person we dealt with was no longer with the company. So this time we dealt with Josh Burt, and it was a disaster. We booked a flight in business class on Jan 23 rd departing March 4 from Philadelphia to Puerto Rico and we’re given a quote of $2547 for two people. A few days later we happen to check on the American website and the price of this very same flight was $965 per person instead of $1273.50 per person we had paid, so we had paid in fact a difference of over $300 per ticket.
When I noticed this I called Josh Burt and was not able to reach him but did reach a person who works with him and explained the situation. Of course he denied that they had charged us more money although it was clear it was the same airline, the same departure times the same departure, and arrival cities, everything was the same. They said that the price had gone up when they purchased the tickets and now the price has gone back down . I have no way of verifying that but it’s highly unusual for prices to go up and a few days later as we get closer to departure to come back down. There were still some places on those flights available when I called them. I called again the airline a couple of days later and the price did go up from 965 to 995 which is understandable as it was getting closer to the departure time but to have the price be $300 more several weeks before the departure and then the price dropping as as we got closer to the departure time does not make any sense. I asked for them to rebook me at the lower cost and they said they could not do that even though we had purchased their high end insurance allowing us to make changes. They were to call back to see what they could do but never got back to us . Where did the extra $600.00 go?
If you wish to deal with them make sure you check prices with the airline before you decide to book with them. We will not be dealing with this company again.
