Sonia was more than helpful. Very professional, courteous, and helpful. Explained the situation clearly and promised to call back on Tuesday and did just that. Very friendly in her approach and a pleasure to deal with. As a retiree with over 40years of dealing with the public I was impressed. Paul.

Exceptional Customer Service from Anabel Corrigan – A True Credit to Flogas!
I want to give a very special five-star review to Anabel Corrigan from Flogas Customer Support.
I was absolutely distraught, extremely upset and overwhelmed by the situation surrounding the reconnection of my electricity.
I had been dealing with ESB and had spoken to several people, but unfortunately, I felt I was getting nowhere. I was passed from one person to another, told to make phone calls and send letters, which I did, and eventually told that my electricity would not be reconnected until the following Tuesday.
I was at my wits' end and genuinely distressed by the whole experience.
Then I spoke to Anabel at Flogas, and what an incredible difference she made!
She was exceptionally kind, compassionate, understanding and professional. She listened to me, understood how upset I was and genuinely went above and beyond to help.
There was a reconnection payment of approximately €251.65 involved, and Anabel helped me through the process. To my absolute relief, within less than an hour, someone arrived to reconnect my electricity.
After everything I had been through, I cannot begin to explain what a relief that was.
Anabel treated me with kindness, patience, dignity and respect at a time when I desperately needed someone to listen and help.
I cannot praise her highly enough. She is an absolute credit to Flogas, and I sincerely hope her managers and senior management recognise what an outstanding employee they have.
Anabel, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You turned an incredibly distressing experience into such a positive one. I will never forget your kindness and help.
Five stars for Anabel. She deserves every single one!

Not waiting too long to be answered. Very patient in looking up invoices and trying to make sense of contradictory invoices. Spent about 40 minutes helping me for which I am thankful.

The officer was very attentive to my difficulty with getting my statement. She was very resourceful and quick in finding solutions to it. Her approach in handling my need was quite polite and friendly. She spoke gently such that I could hear her without asking her to repeat herself.
She spotted some omissions in my account particulars and got them updated. I was carried along, very well assisted and felt very happy yesterday.

I had several issues with my account and called customer service 3-4 times before, but never got a clear explanation. I received two or three bills in a row and the problem stayed unresolved even though I kept submitting meter readings.
Today I spoke with Janice, and it was a completely different experience. She spent about half an hour with me, explained things clearly and took real steps to fix all of my issues. I was also able to set up my new IBAN for direct debit during the same call.
Thank you, Janice, for being patient, professional and genuinely helpful. I really appreciate it.

****REVIEW UPDATED ON 5/11/2026 FURTHER DOWN****
Avoid Flogas if you value your time. A simple billing error has turned into a two-month fight, and the way they've handled it has been unacceptable.
On 7 August they took a direct debit from our account before the due date on the bill, while the account was already in credit. The amount is small (€4.58), but the principle isn't, and neither is the way they've dealt with it.
I first emailed on 12 August. What followed was a month of generic replies from a different agent each time, none of whom answered my actual question. I was told it was with a "banking team", then a "billing team", then "a workflow". Nobody took ownership. I had to chase over and over, and it was only after I phoned on 11 September to log a formal complaint that anyone looked at it properly. Flogas then admitted in writing that the direct debit should not have been taken. That should have been the end of it.
Instead it got worse. On 24 September they told me my complaint had been escalated and the Complaints Resolutions team would contact me within ten working days. Nothing. My follow-up on 9 October, with a deadline, was ignored. Another email on 15 October, which also went to their social escalations address, has had no reply either. Their own Code of Practice promises a response within 20 working days and regular updates if it takes longer. They have ignored their own promises at every step.
I have now had to involve the regulator (the CRU), who had to contact Flogas themselves just to find out where my complaint stood. That's how bad it's got.
An error this small should have taken one email to fix. Instead it has taken weeks of my time, countless emails and a call, and I still don't have a proper response. If you're a Flogas customer, keep a record of everything and be prepared to chase.
I cannot recommend Flogas.
Update:
I'm updating this review to reflect the outcome. After I posted it, Flogas's Social Escalations team contacted me and dealt with the matter professionally. In particular, I'd like to thank Shane, who was efficient, professional and diligent in looking into everything and bringing it to a conclusion. My complaint was formally upheld and closed. Flogas apologised, explained how the amount collected on 7 August had been calculated, confirmed that I will now receive one invoice with an accurate direct debit date, and applied a credit to my account for the service failings and the delayed response to my complaint. I'm satisfied with that outcome.
I'm keeping my 1-star rating, though, because of what it took to get there. I first reported the early direct debit by email on 12th August 2026. I received no resolution until I escalated the complaint myself, involved the CRU, and posted this review, more than two months later. Getting there was frustrating and very time consuming. It meant a phone call and repeated emails, chasing replies that never came, preparing a complaint for the CRU, and going over the same facts again and again with different people. Flogas's own complaints process sets out response timeframes, and these were repeatedly missed, including by the billing side of the business. A customer should not have to go to a regulator and a public review site to get a reply to a billing query.
I'm glad it was resolved in the end. My rating reflects the experience of getting there, and I would reconsider it if Flogas handled the first response to a complaint like this properly.
