Very positive experience with Flippa from start to finish.

Illegal SPAM, GDPR Violations & Total Disregard for Privacy Laws
I am leaving this 1-star review because Flippa.com engages in illegal, unsolicited marketing (SPAM) and harvests personal data without consent.
I recently received a "cold" outreach email to my private address from a "Jack" at Flippa, claiming to have buyers for my domain and urging me to use their valuation chatbot. I have never interacted with Flippa.com, created an account, or consented to receive any communication from them.
To make matters worse, I am legally registered for advertising protection in Denmark ("Reklamebeskyttelse"). Under Danish law, this strictly prohibits any company from making unsolicited sales inquiries unless I have explicitly initiated contact myself.
Harvesting my personal data to send targeted marketing offers is a direct violation of:
GDPR (Europe)
The Danish Marketing Practices Act
The CAN-SPAM Act (USA)
The Spam Act 2003 (Australia)
Flippa needs to understand that cold-emailing EU citizens for commercial gain without consent is illegal. Stay away from a company that uses these unethical practices. I demand the immediate deletion of all my data from your systems!

Listing Fees PLUS Percentage Of Sale
I do like that I have sold domains and websites over the years here but it seems the rates are getting more each year. Listing fees PLUS a % is not a great way to run things.

Wouldn’t bother using flippa. They over estimate your valuation to attract you into the platform. Although you do get lots of interest from potential buyers most of them are a waste of time or only want to pay a fraction of the cost of the true valuation.

The process was a lot...a fee in the beginning and a fee after sale totaling to almost $65 in fees should change it should only be one fee and that's the listing fee. Also I wasn't able to change my reserve pricing to complete the deal. I did auction and opted out of showing my reserve price and somehow the buyers still seen my reserve price not Sure if that was a glitch or because it adjusted to what the high-test bidder was.

Regarding fees, Flippa charges a Listing Fee to publish and promote your asset to our global marketplace of buyers. The Success Fee is only applied after a transaction successfully completes.
In relation to the Reserve Price, once an Auction has received bids, the Reserve Price cannot be changed. This policy exists to protect the integrity and fairness of the Auction process for all participants. Buyers place bids based on the Auction terms at the time of bidding, and allowing changes afterward could disadvantage bidders and undermine trust in the marketplace.
If your Reserve Price appeared visible despite selecting the hidden option, that may have been a bug or glitch. We encourage you to contact our Support team anytime something doesn’t look right so we can investigate promptly and assist in real time.
