I have been harassed and treated with letters and emails regarding fictitious invoices from British Gas Lite, despite sending evidence of fully paid bills and other evidence on four occasions. They have not read or taken on board any information sent and continue to threaten and harass me. I am now seeking legal advice to get rid of them. They are relentless in their bullying and intimidation tactics!!

This is the second time I have used Jessica for conveyancing this year! Jessica is outstanding, she is both professional and efficient. Her communication skills are excellent! Thank you for making things so easy!

Can't be happier with the service received from Flint Bishop and in particular Jessica Ryan-Dawkins in handling our commercial lease conveyancing.
Really first class on all points and everything done at speed and with accuracy.

Our conveyancing experience with Flint Bishop was very good. We were kept up to date all the time and Bethany made the whole process go smoothly, even when we had to change completion dates right at the last minute.

Quite recently I have had multiple pieces of unsatisfactory communication with Flint Bishop. From receiving their first later I phoned the company explained the situation and was told that they would "make a note" only to receive Court Papers three days later referencing a property. No further phone call had been made to me to clarify the situation from a qualified lawyer. In fact I have no idea who has been writing to me and replying to my emails as no-one has put their name to any communication. Letters /emails barely reference any of the the points I raise and contain information that is totally irrelevant to me. Basically a "standard letter". This is unprofessional and sloppy particularly as their client is a well known high street bank who really should be ashamed to be using such a law firm.

Lauren was brilliant can’t praise her enough

Currently embroiled in a property transaction in which I've had the misfortune of my buyer instructing these solicitors.
It's looking like our chain will collapse because of the speed at which they work, which would honestly be overtaken by a sloth. They sit on documents for weeks, answering emails is merely a suggestion to them.
Save yourself the despair of using this dreadful firm. I would also advise against proceeding if someone in your chain instructed them.
The staff, in particular Lauren and Sukhy made the process very easy and communicated throughout. I would highly recommend and also use again if needed.

Reviews speaking themselves, no need to explain much 2 rating out of 5 means critical and stay away from such incompetent people. This so called law firm ruined its reputation with its own hands by partnering with energy suppliers to send fake claims against small businesses whom no one signed any contract with. It’s not worth to earn such money just for some letters to small businesses on behalf of their doggy energy suppliers who got no contracts to start first of all and secondly they don’t release meters to new suppliers and hold as long as they want to keep fake billing on standard double rates than normal market rate. When no contract then no legal grounds of dispute of contract. Inferiority complex lead such firm owners to use English names when these names got nothing to do with them. Harassment case should be made against this firm and must be reported to solicitors regulatory authority and trading standards etc

An unbelievably difficult, impersonal company to deal with. Congratulations if you get past the obstreperous telephonist and find who to talk to. Letters and emails are unsigned without contact details. Once through to an associate I was left waiting and hour and 23 minutes, she only responded three times and each time to get me off the phone and requested that I come back later.
It’s interesting to see the Flint Bishops replies to poor reviews are nearly all a ‘cut and paste’ of the previous reply.

Having heard very negative reviews regarding this company for conveyancing purposes - we would have never chosen to use them. However unfortunately this company representated our buyers and wow did they live up to the reviews we had heard before. Slow, little to absolutely no communication with our solicitors, rude when then did contact our solicitors or estate agent. I guess the rudeness is likely due to the fact they appear to specialise in debt collection. A really basic purchase they've made unnecessarily difficult, which has taken over 6 months. Note to anyone wanting to use them- they have a post room (don't expect the solicitor to act on anything being sent to them via post for at least a few weeks). Overall a very unprofessional converyancing team. Please don't use them, and expect major issues if anyone in your chain is using them!!

Flint Bishop have been employed by Valda energy to retrieve money not due to them. Flint Bishop do not care if its right or wrong and are just after adding their cut. This is the problem with Valda:
Valda energy, after leaving them 3 months ago, have never agreed a leaving meter read with British Gas (my new and much better supplier), no matter how hard British Gas try. Valda energy have now set Flint Bishop onto me despite the final Invoice being in doubt, as above, and they have added late payment fees. They also tried to use my Debit card from three years ago (they shouldn't have kept the card data) to take the money which I managed to stop.
This company cannot be trusted and you set up a contract with them at your own cost, beware this company costs time and money.
Flint Bishop need to test if something is right or wrong otherwise they get tared with the same brush. Do not accept anything this company say's.

The Flint Bishop team was excellent from start to finish.Lauren who i was in contact with most of the time was very informative and guided me through the whole process.Everything ran smoothly and my house purchase completed ahead of the estate agents rough timeline!.Lauren is a huge credit to the FB team and I was very impressed with her knowledge and felt very relaxed leaving it all in her capable hands. Thanks Lauren and Flint Bishop👍

Lauren was very helpful all the way through the process of selling a property for me.First class service from start to finish, would highly recommend to anyone to use.

I very complicated sale of a shared ownership property via joint probate was made very easy by Lauren. Clear communication, great support when not all the questions could be answered, and empathy when needed all helped this awful process much easier.

As others have mentioned, chasing fake debts for Octopus Energy that don't exist, threatening CCJ's etc but then never responding to evidence that they're all liars. Definitely not a reputable company and I have contacted the Ombudsman regarding this.

Bunch of liars, sent a letter to me about unpaid electricity bill at the same time that my REAL electric bill came. Wrong account number and wrong balance charge. Scammers

Communications with Elliot Metcalf and his team were straightforward. It took a little while to get used to the system, largely because we had not been involved in dealing with conveyancing for some 17 years.
Sometimes we felt a little frustrated but on almost every occasion there was a good reason for the lack of progress particularly on our sale--usually the lack of progress from another firm of solicitors!

Chasing my company for a debt of another despite proving all. They just harrass you.

Reply from Flint Bishop
Never respond to emails, send letters chasing debts which don't exist, online chat useless and the person on there isn't even listed on their website, addresses letters to "Sir / Madam" and then demand to know your name before discussing anything - I can see why there are so many one star reviews.
Avoid at all costs.
