I have used Flightradar24 for a good few years, Although i disagree with them taking away the lifetime subscription I have paid for Gold membership for a couple of years now but afraid it will be my last one. I am tired of having to constantly sign in and then having to change my settings every time it has signed me out. I contacted them to ask if there was some way of stopping this and just been ignored. I only wish I hadn't already paid for this year. Plane Finder for me going forward

I’d paid for the Gold membership Option and so I’d expected to have customer service which would treat me with some respect.

I was wrong.

I reported an issue, and got an automated reply saying they would usually get back to me within 5 Business Days - Can you believe that?- 5 Business Days ??? - Usually ??

What a Joke.

This company does not care about paying subscribers. The moment there's an even remotely interesting plane to follow, the website crashes and is inaccessible. There are many free alternatives available with better technology.

I use the free version as I get a lot of air traffic at my new address. Quite a few aircraft that fly by do not show on the website app. So it's mostly useless.

Paid for the pro iOS version some years ago. Went to use it last week, and doesn't work. They have takedn my lifetime purchase and flushed it down the toilet. The best thing they could offer is 3 months on gold, which everyone can get. What's more, none of the gold features worked. What a joke. Removed the app and installed Plane Finder instead. Notice how they have stopped responding to bad reviews now as well?

I received an offer from flightradar24 site offeringa 3 month GOLD subscription for .99. I accepted and paid thru PayPal. I didn't receive the GOLD subscription, contacted flightradar24 who offered to help me but didn't after several emails. Payment was refunded... didn't get the subscription. Disappointed!!!

Like many others I paid for the full version of this App, only for FlightRadar24 to switch to a subscription model using a new App so they could claim it was a separate product.

The 'old' App was discontinued and we don't get any sort of credit for having bought a lifetime subscription.

If FlightRadar are reading this and wondering why they're getting so many bad reviews, it really isn't difficult to work out guys. People aren't stupid and if you shaft them then they'll notice.

Scam Alert. I paid for a lifetime pro version. Then, developers decide to cancel the app!!, and guess what? they just changed its name, and those who had paid for a lifetime subscription, must pay again! monthly fee! they are no longer registered as a paid suscriber, "because it's another app" ¿really? And developer: please don't answer again: "Old app hadn't a free version": Of course it had!, and I paid for an upgrade! Scamers.

Pathetic App now, too many advertisements popping up…. You’ve joined the list now of ripping people off with your updated scam app.. my advise is do not pay any subscription for this app unless you are happy to get ripped off.

whenever an aircraft is overhead commercial or private it never appears on the app. the images of distant aircraft fade. the whole thing is a great idea. if it worked... extremely disappointing

Absolutely useless,used to be excellant but now with all the unecessary changes not worth a penny now.Completely unusable,other options now are more user friendly and always work right,this ne might as well be shutdown!

What has changed??? And WHY? It used to be so easy to find a flight and get all sorts of data on it. I assume I can still do that, but...HOW? Click on the icon of the plane and nothing happens. Click on "Stats" and get things I don't care about. Why go from an excellent and user friendly site to something that has a huge learning curve. Sorry to leave, but other sites are much easier to use.

Absolutely dreadful. Used to be good but now I can’t find the plane’s route when flying. Why do these people ALWAYS have to change things? This site was great. Now it is unusable and total crap. SO disappointed.

I purchased premium life service many years ago only for them to change it by cancelling mine and everyone else's subscribtion saying due to an upgrade that I didn't pay for.Dirty grubs stealing people's money is my first gripe.Have been using free version since in Australia for last few years and worked well until the police and armed forces here went corrupt.The latest update I should not of done has now made the app useless . Hiding defence force and police or any other govnmt Dept air craft identifiers.which is visible by eye.Another bought company by the secret scumbag elites.

once figured out the filtering and found you could string aircraft types using commas. I was able to see a good view of us military aircraft. one hitch is the c17 type also makes the small c172 Cessna 172 planes show. which leads to an interesting result several alleged c172 are shown at improbable altitudes and speeds 30000 ft and 368. mph. strange. I was using a speed filter to see things above the cruise speed of the Cessna 172.

The UI is made to actually use it for 5 seconds and delete the whole thing and forget you ever used it. I search for a flight... nothing found.. ok, advanced search, use departure AirP and arrival AirP then suddenly it finds the flight with the exact same number I was putting before. I try to search with the flight number that actually the app gave me, can´t find anything. So unfriendly to users.

The 2 Stars are actually for the fact that the whole thing is amazing. You can track your loved ones and when they arrive, saves so much time. But to actually use it, that´s a hell.

Subscribed to Flightradar24 silver plan for last 3 years without any problems until now, paid for another years silver subscription but my subscription has been changed to basic plan. Tried to resolve this with Flightradar24 support but they are really unhelpful stating that I do not have an account with them for this plan. So I have paid £9.99 for a basic plan which is free anyway. Contacted PayPal as the transaction was made through them and again really unhelpful stating that the purchase has taken place and they have shipping confirmation and tracking details. How can they have this as it's an app not a physical item sent through the post?? At the moment I don't know how to resolve this problem as the same will happen next year upon membership renewal😭😭

I have used FR24 for years with no problems. However earlier this year they re-vamped it and in the process have made it unuseable. Why mess with something that was perfectly fine. I am considering cancelling my subscription as it is now unreliable and not fit for purpose.

This app used to be a good app i initially applied for a receiver to share on their network . It was refused as my area is covered (fair play) .
So i built my own receiver when i managed to acquire schenatics of the boards used .
Once i had everything uo and running i emailed FR to check their feeder version was up to date .
I received an insulting reply from support stating they didnt really care about new feeders to their network as they "had the best coverage" out there already.Oh yeah?

So what about all the guys n girls hosting antennas and feeding this network i guess when some of them stop sharing and this leaves a hole .will FR attitude change then ??

This is an absolutely terrible attitude to have and shows that its all about greed .
The feeders built youre network FR and id it werent for them you wouldnt have the data in the first place .

So maybe a little appreciation towards sharers of data (new and old alike) in the future instead of this half assed , couldnt give a toss stance you now have .

I wont be recommending you. Instead i recommend adsbexchange ,planefinder , flightaware and last but not least 360radar
