Flat Pack Charlie Reviews

I saw Paul's van at the end of my street and contacted him. I'd bought A potting bench for my husbands birthday and wanted it to be "made up" rather than give to hubby for him to then have to put it together himself. Paul did a fantastic job on constructing the potting bench and my husband is over the moon with it. I can thoroughly recommend Paul and his Flat Pack Charlie service for his excellent customer service.

Paul came to my rescue at short notice to assemble 2 cabinets for me and he also went out of his way to help correct problems with another chest of drawers I had assembled incorrectly myself. Paul was delightful and helpful and extremely good at putting furniture together. I will definitely call him for all my future DIY jobs 👍

I recently hired Paul, an exceptional handyman, to assemble my TV bed, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. His attention to detail was outstanding, ensuring a neat and perfect assembly. What truly impressed me was his commitment to sustainability – not only did he expertly pack all the waste, but he also sorted it for recycling. Paul is a true professional who exceeded my expectations!

Having been messed around by IKEA’s recommended “Task Rabbit” building services, my wife found his Facebook site. A quick message to confirm what was being built and a date time when Paul replied “did we know what we had ordered was a slim wardrobe”. Confirmed with him yes we were aware.

On the day he arrived and went straight to work, and the man is a genius, like a Michelangelo using the medium of flatpack furniture !! How he can build things on his own and the speed !! I’d still be doing it now.

He gave us advice on different ways to secure it to the wall, and to switch the doors/sitting the wardrobe - all something I had no idea !!

All the packaging was operated and folded up into separate piles ready for recycling.

In all great value for money, much cheaper than the Task Bunny or divorce that would have come if I’d attempted to have done it myself !!

Contacted this business via their online quote request and received a response within 24 hours. Paul came to reassemble a wardrobe that had had to be disassembled due to a house move. He arrived promptly after texting me to provide an ETA.
Wardrobe was expertly reassembled by Paul.
Such a pleasant and polite individual, I shall definitely be using his services in the New Year to assemble a few `flat-pack` furniture items. I have no hesitation in
recommending him to other potential customers.

Good communication from the start, arrived on time. Got on with the job straight away and surprised how quickly he had finished since it was full wall of wardrobes. I have no hesitation in recommending using him, reliable, friendly and knows what he’s doing.

We have just had a great experience with Paul from Flat pack Charlie. Paul built 2x havsta cabinets, 1x custom designed pax wardrobe, desk & drawers. He did an excellent job.
From the moment I made contact he provided me with a professional and very reasonable quote. He communicated regarding date etc and was very reliable. He is very pleasant and tidy whilst working in the house and did a brilliant job in a really tidy, methodical manner. Work completed to a very high standard. He made it look easy! Many thanks Paul! Thoroughly recommend.

100% absolutely worth every Penny.
Paul was friendly professional and did a fantastic job building our ikea pax wardrobe and our daughters bedroom furniture. From the built product to tidying up all of the boxes into a neat pile ready for recycling. We would recommend flat pack Charlie whole heartedly and we will certainly use them again in the future! Thanks paul!

FPC was very organised, professional, both physically and commercially, and made a daunting task seem easy.
It was a pleasure to use him as he also organised, very clinically, for removal, the copious amounts of cardboard that accompanied my 3 wardrobes.
I would definitely use him again and would highly recommend his services.

Absolutely brilliant service from Paul! Great communication from initial enquiry to on the day and really friendly and professional service too. He did an excellent job building the most gigantic wardrobe single handedly in just over two hours! I will definitely be using this company again.

Thank you so much :)

Paul did an amazing job. He saved me a huge headache. Communication from initially booking him through to arriving on time was brilliant. Paul arrived on time with all the tools for the job and his work was efficient, tidy and professional. If you want your furniture building the right way I would definitely recommend Paul (flat pack Charlie).

From the first point of their site it is so simple to follow and it has a part where you can ask questions or make points about what you wish. The Fitting date and time was perfect as it was the next day from the delivery of the 8 items. The Quote given was very competitive against quotes from elsewhere. To be honest i would not bother asking any others to give me a quote from now on as I found "flatpackcharlie" totally trustworthy, competitive, and worked well without rushing and LISTENED to some concerns which Paul allied any fears and also went through exactly where I wanted the shelves which I had wanted in specific heights from each other. Paul also showed how if i changed my mind between 2 shelf heights how to change without any problem. As we had spoken and he had put them in the correct place I did not have to touch anything. The actual high cabinet was put exactly where I required it and Paul made sure it was level before securing the high cabinet correctly by drilling and pluging where required. Paul left my living room in spotless condition. I would recommend this company to alleviate any worries about flatpack furniture. Thank you and well done.

Second time we’ve used Paul. Came when agreed, did the agreed work for the agreed price, and was fair about an “on the spot” price for some extra work. Will use again next time I buy flat pack!

Built a range of ikea flat pack and an ottoman bed in a rapid time and no issues

From start to finish this was a great experience and service. I realised I was totally out of my depth after buying a 4 piece set of furniture online, I literally would never have finished it. This is Paul's bread and butter, and he is a complete professional. From the quoting process to the final product it's well worth it.
Many thanks

Could not praise Paul anymore. Very neat and tidy and excellent communication. Very careful and throughout. A fantastic finish to the work. Could not fault in any way. Will definitely be using again and recommending.
