Easy to obtain insurance & but claiming is a challenge
Easy to obtain insurance, I had a make a claim which was difficult as you need waste time searching for a email. I didn't get a response on my claim for €60 so I won't bother to use them again.

No problems purchasing but… …
Asking to rate a product that you haven’t used, and actually hope you don’t need to use (Holiday insurance) is rather pointless. I cannot value how good the policy is if it hasn’t been used.
The booking process was easy enough but the reason for 4 stars is because after my last review pointing out loyalty and maintaining retention of customers, I was quickly sent an email regarding my past bookings with fit2trip. The email and link promised a 5% discount on further bookings as a form of “loyalty” bonus. After making my latest purchase I received nothing. Not particularly helpful to send an email to the customer with a discount and then not apply it when the link is used.
C’est la vie.
Several days after posting this review I received a message telling me that the 5% discount was applied to my booking. Great news, but there was absolutely no indication that this had been done when I received my email confirming my booking, something acknowledged by the company.

The discount is provided via the unique link in the email and reduces our regular premiums automatically, so I appreciate there is not a visual queue to confirm a discount has been applied.

I have'nt gone on holiday yet but the process of getting cover was very straight forward and the cost is reasonable. I hope i don't have to use it though.

Travel insurance when you are 70+
Buying travel insurance when you are over 70 is expensive and so many medical questions. Fit4trip was quick and reasonable.
I hope if a claim is needed they are as efficient

Refund
With reference to the response to my review, I reiterate once again: I do not want you to reimburse my medical expenses, as they were reimbursed by my private insurance. Fortunately, these were expenses that the insurance was able to cover, even though it offers a fairly limited amount for travel. What I demand is that you refund the amount I paid for the Fit To Trip policy. After all, it was a service I paid for and was unable to use. Please process the refund, is the right thing to do.
