Very happy to recommend this company. I was after a whole load of kindling which they supplied very efficiently and quickly. Excellent price and also very happy with the quality of the wood as well. Seems like a good company

Firewood and logs offer an exceptional service, the best quality kiln dried logs in the East Midlands and beyond, and an outstanding proactive customer service. They have been supplying my wood burner fuel since 2013 and have never let me down, therefore I wouldn't go anywhere else! They also offer a wide range of sustainable, environmentally friendly, clean burning fuels in a number of combinations to suit all needs from domestic to business use. Yes there is a cost as with all fuel types, but if you are a responsible wood burner or open fire owner, then this company will tick all of those positive boxes for good, honest clean burning fuels at an affordable price. They also run promotional offers throughout the year so it's worth signing up to their email newsletter or just checking their website for the latest offers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - AVOID
No communication, I had to chase them multiple times, 3 weeks to deliver wood that said 3-5 days, delivered the wrong order, tell me they don't actually have what I ordered and instead of the £80 of wood I ordered they would give me £50 worth of wood without a refund of the difference. Do not give this company money.

I am giving Firewood and logs two stars only. One for their communication and one for their delivery. Otherwise I am disappointed in the kiln dried ash wood received. The logs are mostly cut very small in width so I am sure I will burn through this supply very quickly and therefore this will be an expensive order. The response to my complaint was that I should have looked at the logs more closely on their website. Strange. My first and last order with Firewood and Logs.

Always great prices and quick delivery. I have been using this company for 5 years and always super easy and does what it says on the tin. Competitive prices and delivery within the time frame given. That’s what keeps me coming back.

Purchased a crate of kiln dried ash and have been using it for a month or so - first time I’ve used this company as my usual places have been out of stock. It’s the worst wood I’ve ever had - it’s a real pain to light and get going, it’s a bit smokey too until it gets really hot. Won’t be buying again.

Really sorry I did not read reviews before ordering. I am now 15 days out from the initial order and have not heard back about any delivery time, despite email requests for information. The online order tracking form shows no progress. When I ring people are perfectly pleasant but have no info and although they promise to call back with information about the missing order - they don’t. I hate to leave bad reviews but am starting to realise I may have lost several hundred pounds. And reading the reviews below am worried about the quality of the wood if it does eventually arrive! Be wary

Went for a bag of the kiln-dried hardwood and have to say my experience was contrary to most of the other reviews on here!

Wood's brilliantly dry and the delivery was as per the website; ordered on a Thurs and it was delivered on the following Thursday after a call from the driver twenty minutes before, for free!

My only minor gripe (hence the missing star), is that the website made it sound like I would receive Ash and Oak mixed in my order. However, there was only Ash in the bag I received.
Still, a cube of kiln-dried Ash for £145 (delivered for free) is nothing to be sniffed at!

I had no dealings with customer services as my experience went very well, just ordered from the website and it arrived.

Logs are not dry, very hard to burn......., delivery didn't arrive on the day they emailed me, total rubbish!!!

Have just seen other people's negative feedback and will avoid like the plague!! The website doesn't respond anyway so I might as well wait for a few trees in my garden to mature and then chop them up which might be a bit quicker than using their website!!

I ordered seasoned wood but what I got was wood that was soaking wet to the core. Useless for keeping me warm until I've spent months drying it. I emailed customer services twice and got no response. It also took longer to be delivered than they said it would. All in all a shoddy product and uncaring customer service. I will not be returning.

Ordered hardwood seasoned logs on Saturday 30 March, 2013. On Friday 5th April, phoned to ask where the order was.

Turns out that it hasn't been dispatched because they were 'a bit short' of this type of wood.

Offered me delivery on Wednesday 10th April. I kicked off, and they promised delivery on Monday.

Not happy - will not use again - would suggest you don't either if you want your order on time from people who care.

A Star service. Ordered a giant bulk bag of firewood using next day delivery option and received as promised! Will definitely be ordering from them again!

Superb product delivered in timely fashion

I decided to purhcase 2 cubic metres of seasoned Firewood from this company. They offered Next day delivery for just over £20, but I opted for their free delivery which was suppose to be delivered within 72 hours. I was not in a great rush.

A week later I was still waiting for my delivery, but after many calls to various depots of the haulage company it eventually arrived.

Firstly they courier couldn't get his vehicle up our driveway so it was left at the bottom of the hill. This is half a mile from my house so I had to cart the wood up in our car over 7-8 trips.

Also when we opened the bag, you could smell the damp and mould. This wood has certainly not been seasoned and is now useless to me until next year as it is far to wet to burn. Their website states that the wood has been stored for several months over the summer period to allow it to dry out. Strangely though when I called them to ask where they delivery was, they told me they had run out and were waiting for their new delivery.

I will never use this company again and would not recommend them to anybody. I feel totally ripped off. I could have bought freshly cut wood for half the price from a local sawmill.
