If there was a time to give a no star, this would be it. I’ve ordered a few pieces from Fingercomber, no issue with the items. However, this last unit purchased was HORRIBLE! This wig looks as if it... See more

VERY BAD
The pictures of the wigs looked very promising and beautiful on their website, and the reviews on youtube were very positive. But this is pure deception.
The wig arrived wrapped in tissue paper, not even in the usual plastic bag. The wig order was the Blowout, which turned out to be straight, kinda the look you get after flat ironing your hair. The hazelnut color looked very dusty and unpolished. Worse of all, the wig did not have full hair, I could see my wig cap in between.
For $78, this was a big ripoff. Didn't get value for my money
When it's good it's GOOD(!), but when it's bad...
So, I have mixed feeling about fingercomber products. When you get a good unit, it is freakin' awesome! Very realistic, natural-looking. I get countless compliments and it's nearly impossible to tell it's not my real hair, even from folks who should know better. :-) The problem, however, is that the quality is so hit or miss. I've purchased LOTs of Fingercomber wigs, and probably 40% of them are a disappointment. They're not as full, the shaping is off, something...it's as if they have no quality assurance to ensure you get a unit that's relatively the same as a previous one you purchased. I've been able to get one refund out of probably 10 units - because that one unit was just a hot mess - and even then, customer service person accused me of doctoring the photo. (It was that bad!).
But when they're good, they really are awesome wigs, which is why I keep buying them. But $100 a pop is nothing to sneeze at, and Fingercomber has got to get a handle on consistent quality of construction if they want to stay in business. You'll note that online reviews can be awesome or horrible...and both are true! Some of the wigs are awesome, and some (the same exact unit) will arrive and you're like, "WTH???"
This really is a breakthrough product, easy to use, no lace front and all that. I had never used wigs before and now use them every day. But the quality control really sucks, so you kinda have to buy at your own risk. The risk is worth it when they get it right, but only if you won't miss that $100 bucks if they get it wrong. I hate to say it, but that's real.
Are U kidding Me???!
Are U kidding Me???!! I ordered one if their "salonvelope" units and its a cheap , thin, mess! Yeah I only paid $38 for it, and with shipping it came to $46 total. So I didn't lose much, but burn me once, and I'm done! I had planned on trying the higher units but OH heck no!! Total crap!! I've paid less for way better quality synthetic wigs! "Converti caps?"
havent received my order
i spent 230 $ on wigs (2 wigs). its been months and my order havent arrived. i contacted their custumer service, they answered once, saying that i should wait more. its been months and no order. i contacted them at least 8 more times, and no more answer.
do you where i can fill a complain to try to get my money back?
The Soft-Kinx Unit is Unmatched
I was really worried about my purchase of the soft-kinx unit due to the overwhelmingly negative reviews of the company. After receiving my unit I was pleasantly surprised! The natural look and feel of the unit is unmatched! I am hoping that it will last with proper care and storage. The unit is constructed with a ventilated wig cap (a detail that appears to be misunderstood by most) and can be worn as a half/full cap. There are accordion combs in the front and back. There is not an adjustable strap on this particular unit. My head is on the larger side and did not find the unit to be to small or uncomfortable when simply bunning my shoulder length natural hair underneath. Individual twists or an otherwise flat foundation works best. When the unit arrived there was a little white residue on hair ends, that I easily removed with a little water. I knocked off a star (would only knock off .5 if I could) because with shipping the price is a little steep for a synthetic unit. If it lasts it will earn the full star in my book :) It does take about two weeks to arrive, but it is well worth the wait. I’m a little disheartened by the negative response to this company. I am glad I took a chance to support!
Bad Hair/Bad Customer service
Bad Hair/Bad Customer service. They don't do refunds- They don't care. STay away from this company
Disappointed...
I was actually excited to receive the wig not to know it didn’t have any elastic straps so I was disappointed. The wig cap is extra big. I think it would be best for the company to add elastic straps to the back of the wig. The wig hair was definitely soft. So it looks like I will have to try and find someone to add elastic straps to my wig so it can be wearable. This review is only to improve the quality.
Poor Quality
The wig arrived poorly packaged, completely unwrapped just placed in a box. It was dried out and unwearable. I am pissed. I paid a $100 for what I could have gotten for $25 at the neighborhood Beauty Supply. Fingercomber should be ashamed.
If ZERO stars was an option......
If ZERO stars was an option, that is what I would give. After taking much longer than advertised to arrive and no response to multiple email inquiries, it finally arrived and it is a HOT. MESS. It looks nothing like advertised and is not even as good quality as a $20 beauty supply store wig. I thought it was some kind of joke. Surely a $100 wig could not be this poorly constructed and poor quality! And then I searched and saw many complaints similar to my own. Fingercomber needs to do us all a favor and go out of business. You are a disgrace to black owned businesses.
Don't Buy From Fingercomber
After waiting a month to receive my order I was beyond disappointed in the product. I felt scammed! Not sure how I missed all of the negative reviews before buying!
This company lacks integrity! They send you horrible products that you cannot return or get a refund for!
It took days for customers service to respond to my complaints and no refund. Im stuck with an ugly wig. Do yourself a favor and don't bother with Fingercomber!
