I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my personal experience with Find My Profession. What was sold to me as a premium, personalized service turned out to be deeply disappointing and, in my opinion, misleading.

Before signing up, I was told by staff that my background was an excellent match for their services and that my job search would face minimal obstacles. That assurance was a major reason I trusted them with thousands of dollars and several months of my job search.

In August 2023, I purchased a Federal resume package for $895, which came with a “Resume Writing Interview Guarantee.” With staff’s recommendation, I invested another $2,499 in their Reverse Recruiting service, again relying on the “Interview Guarantee.” In my experience, those guarantees did not produce results. Despite promises of outreach and networking, I did not receive a single interview from the service.

The service felt impersonal, communication was inconsistent, and the deliverables did not meet my expectations for professional standards. I saw no clear evidence of the promised outreach to decision makers on my behalf. When I raised concerns, I received vague explanations and little accountability.

I also want to share that I was contacted directly by the company’s CEO regarding a negative Google review I had posted. In his email, he apologized for the experience and requested that I remove the review. He then offered to send me $250 via Venmo or PayPal if I did so. While he framed this as a gesture of gratitude, I personally perceived it as a payment contingent upon removing my review. I still have the original email for reference.

The gap between what I understood to be promised and what was delivered was significant. I spent thousands of dollars, saw no measurable progress in my job search, and was left very dissatisfied with the outcome.

This review is based solely on my personal experience as a paying customer. Others may have had different outcomes, but I would encourage potential clients to ask detailed questions and proceed with caution before making a financial commitment.

I've worked in marketing for 15 years, and I was a literature major, so you could say I know my way around words: I was very impressed with the work that was done.

They use an AI bot to match jobs that were repeatedly not close to what I was looking for despite multiple conversations with the recruiter. I primarily signed up for them to do networking on my behalf, they didn’t start sending messages until multiple weeks into my first month, and they reached out to multiple people who were no longer recruiters.

I got much more done on my own. Maybe if you are just looking to apply to anything and everything this service would help, but not if you are looking g for a targeted assisted search.

I would highly recommend people look at other services, this one is awful.

Find My Profession did exactly what it says on the tin. Within two months, I had a full schedule of interviews and more follow up emails to send than I could have ever imagined. Today, I got an offer from my dream company. The Reverse Recruiting team, especially George, were fantastic and I highly recommend them to any prospective clients.
